Body Lotion

Many of us don’t know the difference between creams, milks and body lotions. And since the cream is a very important product, let’s remember how to apply the lotion (and what it’s used for).

A woman requires care, nutrition and protection. Meanwhile, you should take care of the whole body, and not just of a few problem areas. The body shows a woman’s age just like her face, neck and hands. Therefore, every woman (regardless of her age should have a lotion in her makeup bag.

So what’s the difference between them? The latter has a lighter texture than many other products, and they are absorbed quickly, which means that they penetrate deeper. 

Why do you need body lotion?

Every time we go to the sauna or swim in the pool or sea, we disrupt our pH balance, and the use of such skin care products as milk, lotion or cream can keep you healthy. They have almost the same functions as a face serum. Both cosmetic products contain mega-active ingredients. 

The cosmetics are intended to keep your skin firm and elastic and maintain the water-lipid balance. Moreover, it may have modelling properties (depending on the composition). Many beauty brands, presented at the MAKEUP store, produce after sun items and anti-irritation after-shave cosmetics.

The lines of many popular cosmetic brands contain perfumed items, which improve mood.

How and when to apply body lotion?

Surprisingly, not everyone knows how to use it. Some people have no idea whether it should be rinsed off. However, it is not the same as a hair conditioner (which usually needs to be rinsed out).

Body fluid should be applied just like cream. Gently massage it until full absorption. The mists can be sprayed (and not rubbed). Many don’t know if a cream can be applied to the facial skin. Cosmetologists claim that it can cause an allergic reaction to perfumery and other active ingredients. Besides, such cosmetics contain comedogenic ingredients. Make sure to adhere to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

Shimmer body lotion

• Shimmer is small glitters, usually added to the highlighters. However, the shimmer is shredded plastic, which poses a serious threat to the environment and doesn’t have useful properties. It has only a decorative effect. 
• Many after-sun care products contain shimmers. Millions of small shining particles look spectacular on tanned skin. However, the beauty industry still doesn’t know how to dispose of small plastic, which eventually ends up in the oceans and kills millions of sea animals. 

Luxury

All luxury lotions have a distinctive feature. These products are perfumed and belong to the bath lines of the best-selling perfumes. If you want to prolong the duration of your favourite scent composition, it is a great option. There are also modern perfumed agents, such as “Guerlain Mon Guerlain Body” and “Dior Joy by Dior Moisturizing Body”, which increase the popularity of the new fragrances.
