Moisturizing Face Lotion for Dry & Very Dry Skin CeraVe Facial Moisturizing Lotion

The lotion is great, but only if you're buying it for combination or oily skin. However, as it's labeled 'for dry and very dry skin', it won't be suitable. I have oily skin and use it both at night and under makeup. It provides light hydration and doesn't create a film on the skin.

I enjoy using this lotion under makeup for my sensitive combination skin almost every day. It absorbs quickly and provides good hydration, leaving my face instantly soft and nourished. However, I think it might be too light for very dry skin.

This cream is excellent for its price! I bought it at the beginning of the year, and the 473ml bottle lasted me for six months. I used it while treating acne with Acnetin/Roaccutane, and it provides great hydration without tightening the skin or causing breakouts. It is also suitable for use on the body.

I've been using this brand for several years now, always getting the cream and the face wash, and they last a really long time. Initially, I tried a miniature version of this cream, and it seemed to me that the consistency was slightly different (the full-sized version felt a bit richer), but neither the miniature nor the large tube feels like a 'mask' on the face or other parts of the body. Overall, I like Cerave products. However, this one is different; the lotion doesn't absorb properly. For example, I applied it last night, and even tonight, after taking a shower, I can still feel it on my skin. It doesn't wash off easily with just water. Additionally, I'm not a fan of the scent, although that's subjective. It's quite unusual, and I can't really compare it to anything.

I'm trying this lotion for the first time. It doesn't leave a sticky feeling and is almost odorless. Overall, it's decent, but I wouldn't recommend it for very dry skin.

For those with sensitive or acne-prone skin, be cautious. Despite the manufacturer's claim that the product is non-comedogenic, I experienced non-allergic subcutaneous inflammations by the end of the day, including on my neck. The texture of the product is pleasant, but unfortunately, due to pore clogging, I won't be able to use it anymore.

I didn't quite understand it. For dry skin, it doesn't provide the nourishment I expected. I don't like the feeling of a film on my skin. On the plus side, it's not sticky or greasy.
