The new L'Initial is a continuation of the Légendaires collection, dedicated to the legacy of the House of Guerlain. Paying tribute to the bestsellers crafted by five generations of perfumers since 1828, the fragrance is also inspired by a love story. This time, it's about the first love, tender and unforgettable. The composition is reminiscent of the famous Shalimar, dedicated to the transition from youth to adulthood. It is gentle, sensual, and alluring, housed in the legendary bottle—with its recognizable twisted details and avant-garde cap shaped like an inverted heart.

Top notes. The floral scent begins to swirl in a sensual vortex of jasmine petals and refreshes with splashes of citrus. Juicy orange combined with enchanting bergamot enhances concentration and is wonderfully invigorating.

Heart notes. The initial freshness is complemented by a touch of emerging sensuality. Flecks of Iris pallida add incredible enveloping softness against the backdrop of Turkish rose, which enhances its magical allure.

Base notes. Vanilla and tonka beans, patchouli, and caramel intertwine in a gentle and sensual trail. The harmonious final touch—a light cloud of white musk, classified as an aphrodisiac.
