Perfumes from the '90s were all about concentration, intensity, depth, and a woman's challenge to her equality and self-sufficiency. Those years were the era of chypre scents. So, when people compare them to other brands, it doesn't mean they smell the same; it's about the preference for certain notes. After 2003, vanilla scents became popular. Before that, perfumes didn't have vanilla or candy-like notes. So, when I say this fragrance is akin to Chanel or Estée Lauder, I'm not saying they smell similar, but they share the spirit of that era. They are different. That's why Jil Sander No. 4 is a rich and dense fragrance. Yes, you need to test it, and in this case, it's essential. Like Chanel No. 5, which not everyone understands, some people buy it for the brand and its legendary status. They are wonderful, but not everyone will appreciate them, and not everyone can wear them.

This scent is definitely not for young ladies. I like the initial fragrance, but after a few hours, it changes completely. It's not suitable for a daytime walk in the park; it's more fitting for an evening at the theater.

Yesterday I received a perfume. I immediately tested it, but it was unclear... In the evening, before bed, I repeated the test: Oh yes! It is basically what I expected (chosen based on reviews): a rich, heavy retro scent. Warm and more suitable for cold weather and the second half of the day. I really like it! However, not all of my colleagues appreciated it. I think this perfume is for mature, professional women. It would be inappropriate for a young girl or a saleswoman at a stand.

This is a very beautiful and classical fragrance with notes of tuberose, spices, and plum. Creamy white and yellow flowers with subtle hints of spices and plum. At the beginning, there is a slight bitterness of galbanum and geranium, and in the base, there are beautiful woody notes. It is a dense, rich, elegant, and loud fragrance.

An elegant fragrance for a serious, confident woman. Perfect to wear during autumn-winter season. Highly recommended.

I'll start with the positive aspects: the perfume was quickly delivered from the EU, there are no doubts about its authenticity, and the service was good, thank you! As for the scent itself, it's not for me. I don't detect any fruits, tuberose, or white flowers on myself, which I adore. Despite there being 27 components in the perfume, I only smell spices, musk, and galbanum. After half an hour, the scent becomes softer, but it still leans more towards a spicy, balsamic fragrance rather than a floral fruity one. I was hoping for something delicate and soft, but instead, it feels like a balm from a pharmacy. Yes, it slightly reminds me of Sikkim by Lancome. It would be suitable for lovers of retro scents. It is said that it needs to sit for two months, so we'll see, let it sit.
