This is an excellent product for those who have occasional breakouts. It effectively reduces inflammation and dries them out. It works wonders for combination and oily skin types.
After using this serum, my face burns and turns red. It feels like I have been burned. Even with a small amount applied, my skin reacts negatively. I don't know if this is how it's supposed to be, but my skin is desperately calling for help after using it.
I purchased this product for my skin, which has noticeable scars. After a week of use, I haven't seen any magical changes yet, but I will continue to observe. The texture is pleasant, it applies evenly, and it is not sticky or has an unpleasant smell. However, it stings a little when applied on fresh wounds. Maybe if you have problematic skin, it may not be enough for you and you may need something more serious, but I like this product. It helps a bit with breakouts and leaves my skin nice and even. I always use it like this: cleanse my face - use this product - apply moisturizer, sometimes I also use toner after cleansing. I didn't feel like it dried out my skin or had any other drawbacks, even though my skin is sensitive. I will probably order more.

What is stated in the description, that azelaic acid "works well" with both oily and dry skin types, does not necessarily mean that this serum is suitable for dry and sensitive skin. Pay attention to the ingredients, specifically zinc. This means that the serum is more targeted towards oily and combination skin types with acne and post-acne issues. Rosacea cannot be cured with this serum (although rosacea cannot be cured with any serum). For this price, it is a functional serum without any special effects, I repeat, for oily or combination skin types, and most likely not sensitive. The effect of azelaic acid comes (sometimes not) after about three months. Not on the second day or week. You need to finish the whole bottle to see if it works or not. I had an azelaic serum for 1200 UAH and I didn't see any effect, and I realized that this serum was only good when it ran out and I started using another one. Of course, if the skin turns red and burns, it should not be used. Although sometimes this happens when the skin's protective barrier is damaged. And sometimes even during certain days of the cycle, the skin becomes sensitive and irritated.
This serum is great. It helped reduce inflammation and got rid of closed comedones, but it didn't completely eliminate post-acne marks. Maybe I haven't been using it for long enough.

Azelaic acid is recommended everywhere for rosacea. It didn't help me though. My skin is sensitive. After using the serum, it sometimes stings and becomes even more red. It also tightens the skin, which is an uncomfortable sensation.
And of course, the smell. It's very unpleasant. Similar to the smell of a spoiled product.

The effective dosage of azelaic acid should be a minimum of 10%, but in this serum, it's only 8%, which is insufficient for desired results...

I have been using this serum for only 4 days, so it's still too early to draw conclusions. I apply it in the evening. In the first 3 days, I experienced a slight tingling sensation upon application, which lasted for about 10-15 minutes. This reaction is probably due to my skin not being accustomed to acids. On the 4th day, the tingling sensation was already milder, lasting only 2-3 minutes. I have problematic, oily skin with imperfections and large pores. In other words, I have a lot of issues. At the moment, I haven't seen any positive changes yet, but it's still too early. I will continue using it and see what happens. The only noticeable effect so far is that my pimples have become more active, but they quickly disappear within 1-2 days and leave no marks. This is probably the "purging" period that they talk about, as the breakouts occur in typical areas for my skin.
