I really like this product! It helps with exfoliation, but the key is to avoid picking at the scabs. The balm works great, just give it some time. I apply it sparingly before bed.
This product effectively heals chapped and wind-damaged lips. I have been using it regularly.
Great lip balm! I had high hopes for it, and it truly delivered. I applied it twice during the day and before bed, and after just two days, my lips started to heal. I highly recommend it!
Comparing the lip balm Cicaplast with Avene - Intensive Moisturizing and Healing, Cicaplast acts more like a barrier rather than providing the same level of moisturization as Cicalfate.
I am currently using retinoids. My dermatologist prescribed this lip product for me. Indeed, it has made a difference.
This is the best lip healing product I have ever tried. You can feel the results after the first application.
I bought this lip balm in Spain, not here, but I want to leave a review. I went to the pharmacy with severely cracked lips, and they offered me this balm. Overall, my lips healed very quickly, and I felt relief after the first day of use. Now, when I feel that a cold sore is starting or my lips are getting dry, I immediately know what to use. Understand that this is a medicinal product that HEALS! It is not meant to create a cosmetic effect. This product is for cases like the problem I had, for example.
Not bad, it does its job well.
When using systemic retinoids, lips tend to get very dry, but this balm manages to moisturize them. However, it leaves an unpleasant white residue on the lips. I only use it at home.
I didn't like this balm as it creates an unpleasant film and leaves white marks, which is the most disappointing thing about this product. Perhaps if your lips are in good condition, without cracks or scratches, this won't be an issue, but it is very noticeable on damaged lips. For now, I will go back to using Cicaplast from La Roche.
It's unfortunate that this lip balm only has 4 stars, I would give it a perfect 10. I have incredibly dry lips and all the balms I've tried either create a film (which then gets washed off/eaten away, while the dryness remains) or get absorbed and need constant reapplication.
Yes, it does make my lips appear white and leaves marks on dishes, but it's not a lipstick, it's a healing balm. Therefore, giving it a low rating just because of this property seems illogical. My perfect routine is to apply it before bed and wake up with amazing lips! It truly heals and restores, nothing compares to carmex. In short, it's love and I have finally found what I've been searching for so long!
