It is not suitable for covering gray hair. It is difficult to get the right shade. The effect lasts a maximum of three days. It needs to be kept on the hair for up to 30 minutes, but then it loses any sense. Within this time, you could have just dyed your hair with regular hair dye.
I didn't buy it here. I had dyed my hair with hair dye, but it grew out and became a bit dry, so I wanted to cover up the regrowth of gray hair a bit without using regular dyes and also even out the difference. I chose a warm chestnut shade as my hair is dark brown, dyed in a similar color but slightly lighter.
At first, I dyed a strand for 30 minutes, but there was no result. Then I read some reviews and left it for 2.5 hours, which worked well. It has been holding up for 2 weeks now, and I wash my hair every other day. The dyed areas have lightened slightly, but my regrown gray hair hasn't shown up yet.
Warning! Never buy this balm. My luxurious, straight, thick, and shiny hair, without a single split end, was falling out in clumps. I simply wanted to cover my first gray hairs, but instead, half of my hair just fell off. I won't be purchasing anything from this brand. And I advise everyone not to even touch this rubbish.
I am a blonde and I chose the warm brunette shade, thinking it would darken my hair. Unfortunately, the shade turned out to be more of a reddish color, which actually suited me well. I used this product once or twice a month for a year. The color would fade quickly where I had blonde hair, but it would stubbornly cling to the fully colored parts. When I went to the hairdresser after a year and told them I wanted to go back to being a blonde, it didn't happen immediately. The hairdresser did some highlights, but most strands still had a reddish hue, although it didn't look too bad overall. For six months after the highlights, I only used violet shampoos and masks to wash out the red. And after a year, I finally achieved my goal! I am a blonde again! Ladies, if you have your own hair color, I don't recommend using darker shades because the pigment will stick to your natural hair forever, while the blonde parts wash out quickly because they are lighter. Overall, this toner is great, and it leaves the hair feeling very soft.
I didn't buy it here, I got the warm b shade, left it on for 30 minutes. My hair is thick, but it has a layered cut, and I used up half of the tube. My hair is natural, not dyed or gray, but I won't buy it again. The effect was minimal on me, and I think my natural color looks better. The texture of the hair feels nice to the touch, and the scent is also normal for me, even though I'm sensitive to smells.
The photos are natural and show two different shades. I really liked them.
The balm itself is quite decent. I bought the red one. The color is vivid enough. It doesn't last very long though. But the smell is awful. Chemical and unpleasant. I can still feel it on my hair for several days.
I have long partially highlighted hair. I bought the dark chestnut color. I kept it on for 1.5-2 hours. It applies well and the color came out nice. My hair feels soft and shiny. It fades within a week or two, but I wash my hair almost every day.
I didn't buy it here, but I'll leave a review. I wanted to cover up my faded reddish color with a cool brunette shade. I left it on for 35 minutes. Nothing changed at all.
Well, what can I say - you get what you pay for. This product dries out dyed hair and washes out quite quickly, in just one use. The color, it should be noted, matches the advertised one. However, this is just my opinion. Maybe someone else likes it. I will try a more expensive branded line and compare.
I didn't like it. It smells like paint and dries out my hair. The ends became very brittle.
I tested the product on a strand of hair near my face because I wanted to even out my roots with the rest of my hair. However, the balm did not give me the desired cool chestnut color; instead, it turned my hair into a strange violet-pink shade. My hair is level 9/10 lightness, and I also applied the balm to the lower section, which is naturally red, but the outcome was the same. It seems that the results vary individually, and unfortunately, it didn't work out for me.
Overall, there is absolutely no effect at all.
The cool chestnut shade didn't quite take on my brown hair, but it left my hair feeling smooth and silky.
I am buying copper for the second time. The first time, I took the whole tube and mixed it with a mask, leaving it on for 40 minutes. The color turned out to be red. This time, I will try taking half of the tube and mixing it with the mask as well. My hair is waist-length, and the consumption is normal, but one tube is enough if mixed with the mask. The quality of my hair hasn't changed. I simply applied it with my hands, it was convenient and didn't drip. It completely washed out from the roots, but the color stays pleasant reddish where it was dyed. It hasn't completely washed out yet, it has been 1.5 months. Go for it, but make sure to mix it to avoid turning red.
I used this conditioner on my hair with natural blonde roots and dyed blonde ends (Cool Blonde shade). Since it's just a strong lightening conditioner, you shouldn't expect drastic changes in color; the color difference is barely noticeable.
What surprised and pleased me the most was the quality of my hair: no Korean hair care product (conditioners, fillers, masks) has made my hair as shiny and elastic throughout its length as this conditioner has.
I will definitely be getting more of it.
I have been using the copper shade for about 1.5 years. Initially, I used the entire tube on my hair. Then I started mixing it with a hair mask - the shade effect is exactly the same, but the consumption of the tint balm is lower. I used 1/3 of the tint balm and 2/3 of the mask, all on unwashed hair. I left it on for 30-40 minutes, as the mask requires.
Overall, this syoss product pleases me. It easily washes off from the skin and adds intensity to the color. It lasts for 6-7 shampoo sessions and 3 applications.
I really liked the copper shade, it looks very natural and not orange on previously lightened hair up to level 10. I keep it on for 20 minutes, then rinse it off and use a conditioner afterwards because my hair needs it. The first time I didn't use gloves, and it heavily stained my hands.
The paint is amazing. The shade is a beautiful reddish hue, reminiscent of henna. It perfectly matches the color. I have my own golden copper hair, and I really like the shade.
I've seen different opinions, but don't be afraid to experiment. Over the course of 6 years, my hair has been dyed with various brands of hair dye. I've come to the point where my roots are yellow, but the length is normal. I wanted to just shave it all off, but I decided to do something about it. I dreamt of having the perfect platinum blonde, but I didn't want to spend crazy amounts of money at the salon every month. So, I bought this brand's hair dye (platinum blonde). I only dyed the roots (waited for 30 minutes), rinsed it off well with water, then applied toner to my entire head (waited for 5 minutes), rinsed it off, dried it, and achieved the perfect blonde! I was very happy! Try it, it may not work for everyone, but I became very happy and will now always use only this product.
This is a really good hair dye that doesn't damage the hair. It provides rich and vibrant color.
I wish someone had warned me about the smell of this balm, it's like a swamp odor. It's better to go to a salon and get a proper dye job with high-quality products.
This is simply a find! After dyeing my hair with L'Oréal ash blonde color, my hair turned reddish after 4 washes. After using this conditioner, I achieved an amazing chocolate shade, the ash roots were covered, and the grey hairs were also well colored. I chose the cool chestnut shade. Highly recommended!
I didn't buy it here, but I want to write that it's an excellent toning balm for those with curls and a slight manifestation of gray hair. The balm is free from silicones and strong sulfates. It lasts for three uses on shoulder-length hair. I got the warm brown shade, and my hair looks shiny without any gray. I recommend it!
I will not repurchase this product for several reasons. The shade "Cold Chestnut" did not come close to being cold - the photo showed a slightly washed out color of the 6.11 dye (which means the color was as cold as possible before toning). The application of the product is not very convenient, especially compared to Estel's YATon, which, by the way, did not work for the same reason of having a warm undertone, but at least they didn't promise a cold one. The recommended waiting time is half an hour, which is quite long for a moderately saturated shade like this. And of course, the smell is awful - typical cheap ammonia-free dye.
Better than expected. Copper red.
So. My hair is dyed red with a hint of redness.
I decided to freshen up the color a bit, so to speak.
I was tempted by the reviews, and the price was also optimal, not expensive but not cheap.
BETTER THAN EXPECTED
The color seems completely renewed. It took very well. My surroundings complimented me, the color refreshed and revived me. It's noticeably noticeable.
Generally, I dye my hair with professional ing dye (Italian, I buy it here). This is because my hair has already been treated with dye, and after some time, I decided to refresh the color.
In general, the color took well, I am satisfied. The hair is easy to comb and looks good.
Before using, I washed my hair, dried it, and applied it (without a brush) randomly on the hair, then just massaged it.
I kept it for 30 minutes. My natural hair is chestnut and a bit reddish. When I used henna, my hair immediately turned red. Somewhere in my genes, there is Ireland or Scotland.
There is still some balm left in the tube, I will apply it again later or... we'll see.
I will add a comment later about how quickly it washes out. But after the first wash, the dye, I mean the balm, sits very well.
I would probably recommend girls to use this balm on already dyed hair. I doubt that this balm will hold well on regular, undyed hair. Especially if the hair is naturally dark.
Yes, I can say that it is a good thing.
I definitely recommend trying it))
I haven't used hair dye in a long time, I wanted to try something more gentle and soft... I have dark blonde roots and "reddish" lengths (a year ago and before I dyed it with 7.0 and 7.7 Estelle), so I chose "cool chestnut" - it turned out to be a very beautiful natural chocolate shade. Half a package was enough for hair down to my waist. By the way, it covered the gray roots perfectly. The color lasted quite a long time and gradually washed out. I liked it) I will buy it again))
Thank you, Make up!!!
I didn't buy it here, but I want to share my thoughts. I really liked this balm, it refreshes the hair color, it applies well, and the hair shines like it does after a salon visit. Overall, I will continue to purchase it between dyeing sessions when the roots grow out and the color fades - it's just amazing.
Color "Cool Chestnut", left it on for 25 minutes.
Great balm for blondes! I used the platinum blonde shade, and it blended perfectly with my blonde hair, without any yellowish tones. However, it won't work for brown or darker shades, as it won't have any effect. Overall, I really liked this product, it fulfilled all the promised claims 100%.
It lasts for 3 hair washes. They claim it lasts for 8.
I didn't buy it here.
On the positive side, it washed out quickly. On the negative side:
- It dyed unevenly.
- There was some kind of debris in the balm bottle.
- It also washed out unevenly.
- It has a disgusting smell.
The base color was a perfectly beloved level 10 blonde. The platinum series was better.
The gray hair is lightly tinted, as the manufacturer claims. I chose the cold chestnut color and it matched very well. I used it to cover up my grown-out roots. My natural color is dark blonde, which is at the roots, while the ends are chestnut and dark. The color evens out nicely. My hair feels soft after using it, and it doesn't stain my pillow or clothes. It washed out with regular shampoo in just two washes.
In general, I achieved the color I wanted - copper. However, on dark brown hair, it turned out to be more like reddish. The only downsides are that when I got caught in the rain, the dye started to wash out and stained my white shirt, which is the first drawback. Secondly, the smell is not very pleasant and didn't completely go away even after washing my hair for the second time. But overall, it's not bad and deserves a solid three stars.
I have purchased the cold chestnut hair dye for the second time and I really like it. My hair feels soft after using the conditioner and it shines as if I just had it professionally colored in a salon.
I tried the platinum blonde shade for lightened hair, and it successfully eliminated any yellow tones, leaving my hair a beautiful white color.
I really like the Syoss balm. I always buy the copper one for my red hair. It applies easily and lasts quite long. I am satisfied with the quality.
I tried the red shade and dyed my blonde hair - the result was amazing! The real "Brave" has arrived! It faded after 5-6 washes. I am thrilled.
I recently ordered the platinum blonde shade to dye away the yellowish tint. But unfortunately, there was no effect at all.
I have tried both the red and the dark hair dye. The application of the dye is easy and it gives a nice, expensive look. It doesn't wash off quickly, which is great for a change. The only downside is that I usually applied it at a distance from my scalp, but this time I applied it directly on my scalp. Surprisingly, there was no burning sensation and the dye covered everything well. However, I started experiencing terrible dandruff afterwards, so I had to buy special shampoos, not just one. It took a while to fix the issue, and now I'm afraid to use it again.
I agree with the positive reviews. This balm is excellent, and its copper color is very rich!
I noticed that the company Syoss responds to reviews themselves, please take note! Unfortunately, the gloves tore during the coloring process, and now my nude manicure has turned an unhealthy yellow color! How can I remove this balm from my nails? The red balm is often great - it has an excellent color, long-lasting, and applies evenly. However, the gloves let me down this time.
I tried the copper shade and it had a stunning effect on my blonde hair. However, the color only lasted until my first hair wash. After washing my hair, it looked as if I hadn't dyed it at all.
I have been using this product for over 5 years and I have not found anything better. The shade is a warm chestnut.
I am pleased with this balm as it effectively colors the hair and even covers up gray hair.
It barely dyes the hair to the specified shade (I have light chestnut hair) and strangely, it has a terrible smell of regular ammonia dye. The hair smells for a whole day as if it was dyed with something like Garnier, not a toner.
Good, but it quickly washes off. Worth the money.
I chose the Cold Chestnut shade for my dark brown hair. The color turned out well, making my hair softer and darker. It doesn't cover light gray hairs very well, but it still darkens them. The scent of my hair after dyeing is a 4 out of 5.
And I really liked the balm. I got the shade "Cool Blonde". What I like the most is the condition of my hair after using the balm, my hair becomes "alive", just like after a salon treatment.
Firstly, even on dark hair, the warm chestnut shade looks like a reddish color.
Secondly, it is impossible to rinse it off with truly clean water - even if you shower your head for an hour, the yellowish water will keep flowing and flowing.
And thirdly, after the first use, my hair was only 80% clean?? I know my hair, and they have never encountered such a useless product - I followed the instructions precisely, and clearly the issue is not with them or the method of application.
This product is utterly useless.
