It is not suitable for covering gray hair. It is difficult to get the right shade. The effect lasts a maximum of three days. It needs to be kept on the hair for up to 30 minutes, but then it loses any sense. Within this time, you could have just dyed your hair with regular hair dye.
I didn't buy it here. I had dyed my hair with hair dye, but it grew out and became a bit dry, so I wanted to cover up the regrowth of gray hair a bit without using regular dyes and also even out the difference. I chose a warm chestnut shade as my hair is dark brown, dyed in a similar color but slightly lighter.
At first, I dyed a strand for 30 minutes, but there was no result. Then I read some reviews and left it for 2.5 hours, which worked well. It has been holding up for 2 weeks now, and I wash my hair every other day. The dyed areas have lightened slightly, but my regrown gray hair hasn't shown up yet.
Warning! Never buy this balm. My luxurious, straight, thick, and shiny hair, without a single split end, was falling out in clumps. I simply wanted to cover my first gray hairs, but instead, half of my hair just fell off. I won't be purchasing anything from this brand. And I advise everyone not to even touch this rubbish.
I am a blonde and I chose the warm brunette shade, thinking it would darken my hair. Unfortunately, the shade turned out to be more of a reddish color, which actually suited me well. I used this product once or twice a month for a year. The color would fade quickly where I had blonde hair, but it would stubbornly cling to the fully colored parts. When I went to the hairdresser after a year and told them I wanted to go back to being a blonde, it didn't happen immediately. The hairdresser did some highlights, but most strands still had a reddish hue, although it didn't look too bad overall. For six months after the highlights, I only used violet shampoos and masks to wash out the red. And after a year, I finally achieved my goal! I am a blonde again! Ladies, if you have your own hair color, I don't recommend using darker shades because the pigment will stick to your natural hair forever, while the blonde parts wash out quickly because they are lighter. Overall, this toner is great, and it leaves the hair feeling very soft.
I didn't buy it here, I got the warm b shade, left it on for 30 minutes. My hair is thick, but it has a layered cut, and I used up half of the tube. My hair is natural, not dyed or gray, but I won't buy it again. The effect was minimal on me, and I think my natural color looks better. The texture of the hair feels nice to the touch, and the scent is also normal for me, even though I'm sensitive to smells.
The photos are natural and show two different shades. I really liked them.
The balm itself is quite decent. I bought the red one. The color is vivid enough. It doesn't last very long though. But the smell is awful. Chemical and unpleasant. I can still feel it on my hair for several days.
I have long partially highlighted hair. I bought the dark chestnut color. I kept it on for 1.5-2 hours. It applies well and the color came out nice. My hair feels soft and shiny. It fades within a week or two, but I wash my hair almost every day.
I didn't buy it here, but I'll leave a review. I wanted to cover up my faded reddish color with a cool brunette shade. I left it on for 35 minutes. Nothing changed at all.
Well, what can I say - you get what you pay for. This product dries out dyed hair and washes out quite quickly, in just one use. The color, it should be noted, matches the advertised one. However, this is just my opinion. Maybe someone else likes it. I will try a more expensive branded line and compare.
After the first wash, I must say, it's not worth buying at all. The water and towel turned brown. I chose a light chestnut shade.
From ash blonde to warm light brown, or my story of experiments. I chose the Copper shade and was not expecting it to be so highly pigmented. Be prepared for a true fiery red color, just like in the Scooby-Doo cartoon.
I bought Syoss Copper, a copper color, but not here. I applied it to clean, damp hair, first using a brush on the roots, then spreading it throughout the length. I left it on for 20 minutes, although it says 20-30 minutes, but I was afraid that the color would be too vibrant, as I had previously dyed my hair a bright copper. I have a shoulder-length bob haircut, thick hair, and half of the tube was used. The instructions say that the product should be rinsed immediately after coloring until the water runs clear, but I rinsed for 20 minutes and there was still copper-colored water, so I left it as it was. As for the dye on the skin, it washed off easily. What can I say, the color is absolutely stunning, a copper-gold tone, I really like it. The hair was evenly colored, without any patches, BUT!!! the roots are completely untouched (I am a natural brunette), I always lighten them before dyeing, and although I toned them a bit, they are still visible. The most critical aspect for me is the smell!!! The smell of the hair immediately after washing is like a stable, and on the second day, it's like I washed them with rotten eggs, a very unpleasant smell, almost nauseating. The color completely washed out after the 4th hair wash. Overall, I am satisfied with the result, but I will not buy this product again because of the smell. The smell is the worst thing for me, so I give it a three out of five.
I have used this balm in the shade of cool blonde. As a balm, the effect is amazing - my hair is soft, shiny, and easy to comb through. It has a scent similar to hair dye. As a tinted balm, it is not bad, but there is no wow effect. In person, it seemed like nothing had changed, but when I compared the before and after photos, the result was still visible (I left it on for 6 minutes).
I have been using the shade "copper" on my uncolored hair. The effect is amazing, the color is superb! It lasts for up to 6-7 washes. I highly recommend it!
I tried using the shade "Cool Blonde" on my colored and lightened hair (level 9-10). I left it on for 25 minutes instead of the recommended 5 minutes. Unfortunately, it had absolutely no effect! Such a waste of money! I do not recommend it!!!
Warm brunette on natural light brown hair - fiery red. I was hoping it would wash out, but I have already washed my hair 10 times and the water is still yellow and the roots are still red. It's becoming scary to think that I spent so long growing it out and ruined it.
I didn't buy it from Makeup.
The balm is terrible, it has no effect!
But the smell is something else, excuse me, it stinks so much that it's irritating to the eyes. It stayed on my hair, I couldn't get rid of it with anything.
I don't recommend it!
I didn't buy it here, but I got the shade platinum blonde. It turned out pretty good.
I have long, straight hair that reaches below my shoulder blades, and I dye it in a copper (red) shade. I toned my hair a week after fully coloring it. The first application was ineffective as I didn't apply it to the roots, waited for 30 minutes, and saw no results. The second application was better; I left it on the length of my hair for 45 minutes, and it toned quite well. The color became vibrant and had a sun-kissed effect, but it only lasted until the first hair wash. My hair felt soft and loose. This product is decent, but only if you urgently need to tone and enhance the appearance. However, it shouldn't be expected to have the same effect as dyeing your hair with permanent color.
I have been using the copper shade for my hair, which is naturally auburn. It gives a nice copper color and works great for touch-ups between dyeing sessions. It even slightly enhances my natural roots, but it's understandable that it washes out quickly. However, if there is any dye residue on my already colored hair and I wash it, it dyes perfectly. Another great thing is that it doesn't stain the skin. Overall, I recommend it as an intermediate product for maintaining color on dyed hair. It does color natural hair, but it fades faster than previously dyed hair. As for the application, I don't mix it with anything, I simply apply it after washing my hair, throughout its length, and leave it on for 30 minutes. I'm satisfied with the results.
I tried the platinum shade. I didn't like it. Firstly, there was practically no effect even on bleached hair. Secondly, the balm has a disgusting smell. I don't recommend it.
I didn't like it. The coloring effect is non-existent, the yellowing remains. Moreover, my hair noticeably became drier and more brittle. I do not recommend it.
I didn't buy it here, but I decided to leave a review after reading the comments. I am a bit shocked that you expect a drastic change after using a toning balm. It is not a hair dye, so there won't be any radical transformation. It is excellent for maintaining color.
I bought the cool chestnut shade, and my natural chestnut hair became cool, just as it should.
It doesn't worsen the condition of the hair, they became smooth, shiny, and well-groomed.
The smell is very strong for me. I am allergic and very sensitive to smells, so it's very individual in this case.
To understand the toning technology, I recommend reading about it online to determine which shade to choose and what result you will get on your hair.
The Chestnut shade has a coppery tone and leaves no traces on the skin, but the smell... it smelled like hair glue for two weeks.
The copper shade tones into a rich orange without any redness, resembling the color of copper wire. The scent is ordinary and does not linger on the hair. I dilute it with a third of a conditioning mask and leave it on for five minutes. Without the mask, I assume it would not be very economical. Overall, the price and quality are decent, the color is even and vibrant, and it effectively tones the roots. It's exactly what I need in between dyeing sessions.
I am completely satisfied with the outcome!
This balm is excellent as it adds shine and leaves the hair looking well-groomed. I kept it on my light brown hair for about 20 minutes and it gave a beautiful chocolate shade.
I am extremely satisfied with this product. The warm chestnut shade gives a subtle reddish tint. It effectively covers gray hair and, indeed, lasts up to 8 weeks.
I purchased a warm chestnut shade, but ended up with reddish hair.
Color "warm chestnut", applied evenly on wheat brown hair. After the second wash, it does not leave streaks, we'll see what happens next.
The photo doesn't accurately represent the color. In real life, it turned out more coppery.
As for whether it dries out the hair or not, I can't say for sure because I use hair care before and after washing. I don't have much to compare it to, but compared to "Tonic" that I used before, this product is definitely better.
For those who want small temporary changes, I recommend it.
I used the toner to tone my hair while growing out my natural color, in order to achieve a more consistent shade. At first, I was very satisfied. However, I started noticing that the color washed out quickly. And for some reason, I no longer see a clear transition between my natural and dyed hair. The toner lightened my hair. And now, everything I was growing out has become terrible and bleached.
Platinum blonde is another wonderful way to maintain a cool shade of blonde. Simply add it to shampoo just before washing.
Great balm! The color is a cool chestnut shade. As for the fact that it's cool, it's debatable, but it worked wonderfully. The original color was dyed a light brown.
The balm effectively covers grown-out roots with gray hair. I chose the Cold Chestnut shade for my brown hair and it matches perfectly.
The cool chestnut shade suits perfectly and doesn't give a yellowish tint. It only has a violet undertone until the first wash, and then it becomes a very pleasant and nice shade. The color stays for 6-8 hair washes.
I bought the cold chestnut shade. The color is beautiful and has a subtle violet undertone (until the first wash), but it suits me well. My hair feels soft and looks shiny after using it. The color starts to fade after around 4 hair washes on my light brown hair.
Good balm. I bought the warm chestnut shade for my uncolored dark brown hair. The result is a very beautiful tone that toned down the gray hair. My hair shines and is manageable after using it. It lasted for 6 hair washes.
So far, for me, this is the best tinted balm. I got the "warm chestnut" shade, left it on for 20 minutes, and the effect lasts as advertised. It doesn't leave any residue on the skin and doesn't have a strong scent. I have long hair, about 4-5 inches in length, and one tube is enough for 2-3 uses! Overall, I highly recommend it!
I don't know, maybe the shade "Platinum Blonde" will work for natural blondes, but it didn't work for my lightened strands. I lightened the strands around my face and applied the balm for the first time for half an hour - it didn't work. The next day, I left it on for 40 minutes - still no effect. In the evening, I applied it generously again for an hour and a half - zero effect! It didn't cover anything, it didn't give any shade at all, not even a tiny bit...
I bought the balm from a different place, but I will leave a comment here. I have light brown hair with some gray strands, and I applied the balm for 30 minutes. I am satisfied with the result. My hair slightly darkened, and the gray strands are not visible. Indeed, this balm shade gives a reddish tint. Everything is great, I will buy it again. For those who want a darker color, you can confidently choose the cool chestnut shade.
Ladies, if you have light blonde hair, do not, under any circumstances, try the "warm chestnut" shade! It's a disaster! I fell for the name and the picture, but in reality, it turned out to be red! I wanted to try something slightly darker, hoping for a brown result... I hope it washes out soon because even after three hair washes, my roots are still red.
I chose the shade of cool chestnut. I would say that it's not really cool, but the color is pleasant. It faded after three hair washes. It didn't cover my gray hair.
I tried the cold chestnut shade and my hair looked great after using it. However, there is a major issue! The cold chestnut shade is not actually cold at all. It intensified the copper undertone that I wanted to remove even more!
From now on, this balm is a must-have among my hair care products. I am currently using the Platinum and Cool Blond for natural dark hair lightening up to 10 tones. The balm performs its task excellently - it provides a shade and tones the hair. It should not dye the hair. The only downside is that it washes out fairly quickly from my hair. However, I can still use it once a week. When I return to my natural, almost black hair, I will definitely try the warm and cool shades of chestnut, as well as black. Overall, I am satisfied. It's a super balm. I will have it constantly now. I love it.
I ordered two toning balms from this series (platinum and cool blondes).
I am extremely satisfied. My hair is simply amazing after toning. It feels like I didn't just tone it, but also laminated it.
Ladies, don't expect a coloring effect! This is not dye!
I love these tonics! Whether it's on lightened ends or when the hair has become slightly dull after coloring - I apply it for 20-30 minutes, rinse it off - and my hair becomes smooth and pleasant with an amazing intense color. The most beautiful effect, of course, is when it's freshly toned. It gradually fades after 3-5 washes.
I kept it on for 30 minutes, hoping for a cool blonde effect. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no result whatsoever. It was simply a waste of money.
It strongly colored my hair. I wanted a light shade, but ended up with a strong color, even though I only left it on for 20 minutes instead of 30. When I washed my hair, the color didn't wash out at all, even after using shampoo. More than half of the product was used. I didn't notice any stylish scent. It doesn't dry out the hair.
After using this product, I noticed that my hair has become drier and the color is not very vibrant.
I didn't buy it here, but I'll leave a review. MONEY WASTED. I didn't see any results at all. The first time I kept it on for only 15 minutes, then for a longer period of 30 minutes, and still nothing. The smell is horrible, it stayed on my hair for 2 days and didn't go away.
Great tonic. I purchased the black one for brown hair. It applied easily and rinsed off quickly. If you happen to dislike how it looks with this color, you can easily remove it without any consequences. The result is a nice shade.
I bought a copper shade. It blended evenly with my bleached hair color, and I was happy with my new bright red look (it all depends on how long you leave the balm on your hair). I liked it! After 5 washes, the redness completely faded from my white dyed hair. The only downside is that on the first day, the hair has a very unpleasant smell, but it goes away by the next day.
This is my first hair tonic. My hair is porous, dry, thick, and curly. This is exactly what I needed for highlighting. The tonic made my hair softer and eliminated the yellow tint. I liked it. I will continue to use it. Thank you, Makeup, for changing the delivery address.
I bought a copper one, and it heavily stains the skin on my scalp.
I didn't buy it here. It has a terrible smell that gave me constant headaches. The effect was nonexistent. The only positive aspect was that it made my hair softer, but with that odor... I bought the product "be blonde".
Lightened hair to dark in one go! Amazing! Just that I kept it for 35 minutes instead of 20 :)
I didn't purchase it here. The balm didn't really impress me. I have natural light-reddish hair and bought the "warm chestnut" shade, but in the end, my hair turned simply red, especially at the roots. Even my husband didn't notice the change right away, and there is hardly any visible difference in length. In short, the balm gave my hair a barely noticeable reddish tint, which is not what I wanted as I was looking for a warm chestnut shade! I followed the instructions and maybe I needed to leave it on for longer or apply more product to achieve the desired color. It has a strong smell, and the odor lingers on the hair for a long time. My hair feels dry and gets tangled after using it.
It doesn't smell, there is a slight chemical scent but it's not a big deal. It colors excellently and washes out very quickly. The condition of the hair remains unchanged. I recommend it for those who want to experiment.
The conditioner did not work for my natural hair. My hair was in terrible condition after toning (when it finally washed out), and it took a long time to restore it with various treatments.
