I bought it in January or February, I think. At first, for the first half an hour to an hour, there was a rubber smell, but I let it settle and now there are no more of those notes at all. It unfolds magically, it's a bit intoxicating.

The scent, in my opinion, is not everyday, rather the opposite - it suits a certain internal state, I feel it differently depending on my mood, from some kind of magic to stuffiness. Over time, I just tuned in to it, so now it only brings me joy.

Someone once gave me a sample of this perfume from France and ever since then, I've been searching for this scent and nothing else compares. Recently, while browsing on a website, I discovered that there are two versions of it! However, there is a difference: one is a perfume, the other is a water with a different scent pyramid. I specifically ordered the water because I was told that only those were the ones! But yesterday, I received the perfume "Shalimar" and oh my god!!! This is it!!! It's impossible to convey the joy and excitement it brings! Of course, I couldn't resist and immediately applied it... but there was no aroma, no scent... it faded away quickly. I tried the water and it smelled, but this one didn't... I was extremely disappointed, but then I checked the code and it was fine. So I sprayed it again and it still smells to this day!!! Guys, this is a fantastic scent!!! Thank you to the store for allowing me to make mistakes but not lose hope in finding my dream scent!!!! This perfume is fantastic!!! I sprayed it around three o'clock yesterday and the scent is still there - fantastic!!! Long-lasting - superb! Thank you!

Having fallen in love with the EDT, I couldn't resist getting the EDP. Now, I'm sitting here, comparing my impressions. They are similar, like twin brothers that are hard to tell apart but impossible to mix up. From my perspective, the EDP offers a more complete and clearly structured unfolding of the fragrance pyramid. It starts with a strong citrus accord, with a slightly bitter peel... Then they become sweeter... Do they ripen?... :) Afterwards, flowers are added to the citrus notes. Many flowers. But jasmine stands out the most, and probably iris too, as there is a good amount of powder present as well. After a considerable amount of time, the flowers are replaced by a warm, dry sandalwood in a vanilla cloud. But somewhere very close to it, the citrus notes still linger. That's my personal journey through this magical garden. I suspect it's far from complete. A big thank you to the store for the excellent service.

I will add to my review. The fragrance is reminiscent of the Art Deco style of the 1920s. It evokes the image of a lady in an evening gown from the 1920s, smoking a long cigarette in a billiard room. That's what this fragrance is all about!

These perfumes are incredibly cool! Firstly, they are the eternal classics of perfumery! They were created by Jacques Guerlain, and in the Persian language, Shalimar means "the master of gardens." And it's no wonder - it smells of sweet oriental vanilla mixed with spices and roses. Of course, I recommend testing them before buying if possible, as oriental scents are not for everyone.

I cannot understand where all the enthusiastic reviews are coming from. The perfume is very heavy, if it weren't labeled as women's, I would have thought it was for men! It smells like burnt rubber. It does fade away over time, but the scent cannot be compared to Chanel No. 5 or any other classic fragrance. There are no feminine notes. I highly recommend testing it.
