Recently viewedCuticle OilCuticle oil is a tool for regular care of the skin around the nails. It often dries up and becomes prickly, clings to clothes and causes a lot of inconveniences. Thus, burrs (hard fragments) are formed, and a lot of people simply tear them off, getting such diseases as panaritia (inflammation of the periarticular rollers), paronychia, fungal diseases, etc.
These cosmetics not only help to maintain the natural protective barrier but also soften, nourish and strengthen the skin and nails, prevent burrs from forming, relieve the incipient inflammation, accelerate the growth of nails and have a regenerating effect.
The composition of good oil, its properties and benefits
If your skin is prone to allergic reactions, choose either a purified product without fragrances and essential or mineral oils. If you have very dry skin (not only on your hands but also on your face and entire body) and the area around your nails is cracking, even despite regular use of hand cream, you often have burrs, then a pencil that contains solid cocoa butter will be ideal for you. It is cocoa butter that has unique properties for a long time to nourish, moisturize the skin and protect it from the harmful effects of the environment.
How to use cuticle oil?
It is very simple to use: apply a small amount to the clean skin around the nails with a pipette or brush and gently massage the pads of your fingers in the direction from the tips of the nails to their root. Due to the proper application, you will, in addition to nourishing and softening the skin, improve the condition of the nail plate, because it nourishes not only the skin but the root of the nail, getting under the cuticle.
Remember that natural vegetable oils are quickly destroyed under the influence of oxygen, light and high temperatures, so they should be stored in a cool, dry place in a tightly closed container.
If you use the product daily and regularly (preferably after each hand wash), you can be absolutely sure that your nails and the skin around them will always be beautiful!
How to choose a good agent?
Cuticle oil presented in the MAKEUP store can be divided into two types:
- mineral
- natural.
Mineral oil is a product of refining. It is usually hypoallergenic, it is often used in cosmetics for children and people with sensitive skin. It does not penetrate the skin, it only covers the surface of the skin with an impenetrable film, protecting it from the loss of natural moisture and from the penetration of excessive moisture, microbes, fungal spores and dust from the outside. In salon practice, the mineral product is used for applying immediately after a classic edged manicure.
The natural product is a purified vegetable oil obtained from the seeds of various plants. It can be either a mono composition or a mixture of various, each of which may have different properties. Since it is able to penetrate into the upper layers of the skin, it is used to nourish and moisturize, relieve irritation on the skin, and prevent fungal infections.
If you need to choose the right treatment, you need to carefully read its composition and make sure that you are not allergic to the components.
