The brand Lancome appeared in 1935. Since 1964, it has belonged to the company “L’Oreal”. This brand produces decorative and caring cosmetics, perfumes and toilet water. The founder of the company was Arman Petitjean, a man of many talents. During his life, he managed to work as a merchant, a military man, a diplomat, a perfumer and a cosmetologist. Creating his company, Arman wanted to tell the world about the beauty of France. And he did it.
Lancome – the embodiment of the French style
The first products released by Petitjean were five fragrances. They were presented at the international exhibition in Brussels in 1935, where they obtained public recognition. The perfumes were warmly received in dozens of countries around the world. The products attracted the customers’ attention with pleasant compositions and extraordinary design of the bottles, developed by the professional artist Georges Delhomme.

A few years later, foundations, face serums, mascaras, lip glosses, powders and many other makeup products appeared on the market. The company works independently on the development of the new cosmetic formulas and creates effective products with a high-quality composition.
Lancome managed to turn a regular lipstick into a fashion accessory.
