Describing a fragrance without being an expert in notes is quite difficult. Each brand has its own main tendency in all its perfumes. Carthusia, in my opinion, is quite sharp and intense; sometimes it even feels like comparing it to eau de cologne. Nevertheless, you either like it or you don't! I bought Corallium in Italy, and there I wanted to immerse myself in it - the fragrance blends into the surrounding atmosphere, scorching sun, and air saturation. I came home, a couple of days passed - and I can't! The scent concentration is too strong; it doesn't fit into our atmosphere. Especially since it was autumn. But now I'm enjoying it again!
On me, it opens up with herbal notes plus a hint of sweetness, probably patchouli and sage. It's not cloying, there's a touch of freshness. I like it.
Thank you, makeup, for the lovely scent and gift. I wear it together with my husband. On him, it has more grassy and woody notes. On me, it releases freshness and a hint of warmth from sage. The notes reveal themselves depending on the air temperature. In the summer, it's fresher, while in the cold it becomes denser.
