Not very densely packed. Soft. Very delicate. Suitable for applying mineral powder, blush, and veil. For applying mineral primer or heavier coverage, a tighter bristle packing is needed. But I am very happy with the brush. It suited my purposes and became one of my favorites.
This brush is excellent - it's soft, very delicate, and picks up powder/blush/bronzer perfectly. The bristles are easy to wash and dry quickly. I couldn't resist and bought another one just like it :)
