Every skincare routine begins with a thorough cleansing, and skin with imperfections requires special attention. Experts at the Korean brand Mary & May have specifically developed a cleansing foam for problematic skin that helps wash away all impurities, soothe the epidermis, and prevent new irritations. Its formula contains a carefully selected concentration of Houttuynia Cordata and Tea Tree extracts, which aid in reducing inflammation and deeply cleansing the pores, leaving a feeling of complete comfort and hydration. Lauryl Hydroxysultaine is a very mild co-surfactant for foaming products. It acts as a thickener, enhancing the foam-forming capability even in hard water.

Create a rich lather by mixing a small amount of cleanser with water. Apply the lather to your damp face and neck. Gently massage your skin to cleanse it, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Follow up with the next steps of your skincare routine: toner, serum, emulsion, or cream.
The foam is amazing! I have been using it for a few days and already see results. Its scent is similar to the whole line for problematic skin - it smells bitter and stagnant aloe. The amount needed is minimal, just a small pea-sized amount to wash the entire face. It seems to slightly lighten the complexion. All my breakouts have calmed down a bit and are now less pronounced.
I received a sample of this foam from another website and I would like to share my impressions about this product. I haven't had the chance to understand anything yet, but the scent is a bit sharp and may cause allergies. The comment below perfectly describes this fragrance, it's like a herbal scent that reminds me of cheap soap, which is quite overpowering. Since this fragrance is applied to the face and lingers even after applying toner and cream, it is guaranteed to cause allergies (runny nose) and sleepless nights. My reaction is individual, but I still want to warn those with a sensitive sense of smell.
I support the previous review - the foam is excellent. I have porous, acne-prone, and oily skin. Since I use tretinoin, my skin is very sensitive and irritated in some areas. I was looking for a non-aggressive cleanser and a gentle product. And oh my, gods, I finally found it. The foam is white and has a light, pleasant scent that I can't compare to anything else. It's not exactly herbal, but it smells like something plant-based and sweet. However, the scent is very delicate and won't irritate. Here's my recommended method of use for very sensitive skin under the influence of retinoids:
1. Use hydrophilic oil to remove makeup from your face. You just need to massage it for about 4 minutes on your face and then rinse it off.
2. It is advisable to foam the cleanser with a special mesh, as the foam will gently and softly cleanse your skin without any hint of dryness. If not lathered into foam, the skin will feel slightly tight. I massage the foam on my face for about 2 minutes, then rinse it off and rinse my face with very cold water for 1 minute - try it, the effect is amazing.
3. After that, I apply toner by pouring it into my palms and patting it onto my face. If there is not enough moisture, you can repeat the toner application as much as you want.
4. I apply serum. I only need serum because after all these steps, my face feels soft, moisturized, and looks well-groomed. If you need more hydration, I recommend applying moisturizer after the serum.
I have been using this brand's skincare routine (foam, toner, serum) for a week now and I don't skip any of the steps described above. And what can I say - my skin is 100 times better than months of unclear skincare. I cleanse regularly in the evening, and in the morning, I do the same routine without the hydrophilic oil. Give it a try! I wish everyone healthy and beautiful skin!)
This foam is excellent and definitely worth the money. I have sensitive skin and used to use a gel from La Roche, which was very drying, poorly cleansing, and caused even more inflammation. I have been using this foam for three days now, and the effect is already noticeable. It cleanses the skin thoroughly without drying it out, soothes inflammation, and I plan to order the cream, tonic, and serum from this line as well. This is my first experience with a Korean product, and I am thrilled!
