Previous times I purchased it, I felt the cream was thicker and easier to apply locally without spreading. It had a denser texture. I'm not sure what the reason for this difference is.

I believe that this is perhaps the most controversial cream in the makeup world. I also read reviews before purchasing it and had doubts, but it was recommended to me by my skincare specialist, so I decided to give it a try.

So, let's start with the background. I have oily and dehydrated skin with enlarged pores and acne scars (I don't currently have active acne). The main goal of this active acid cream was to lighten the acne scars and quickly treat any new breakouts. I used it in conjunction with the Noreva Laboratoires Exfoliac Gel Moussant (which contains acids), Bioderma Hydrabio Toning Lotion, Bioderma Hydrabio Serum Moisturising Concentrate, and my daytime moisturizer was from Avene.

The first application of this cream was similar to what was described in all the comments - a burning sensation for about 15 minutes, redness, and the fear that my skin would peel off)))

But I decided to wait. IMPORTANT - I did not apply a lot of this cream, even though I used to indulge in a large amount of face cream. My dose was just a pea-sized amount.

Another important point - I only applied this cream AT NIGHT. Creams with active acids are highly discouraged for morning use, as it can lead to pigmentation. And if you do decide to use this cream in the morning, make sure to apply sunscreen with SPF 50. Also, applying acid creams in the morning and evening can cause peeling and dehydration.

The smell of the cream is slightly chemical, but it is bearable.

In the morning, there was no greasy shine or dryness, which I used to experience with other skincare routines.

After a couple of weeks, my skin fully adjusted to the acid cream and I only felt a slight tingling in some areas. Only once, after 2 months, did I experience a strong burning sensation, but that was because my face was exposed to strong winds.

As a result, after 2 months, my old acne scars lightened significantly (but the cream is not a miracle cure, I also had mesotherapy sessions for acne scars), my skin did not peel, and any new breakouts would completely disappear within 3 days (I don't pop pimples myself), and the resulting scars were initially barely noticeable and would disappear completely within a week.

It is also important to note that this cream is for active treatment, and once the main issues you are dealing with are resolved, it is advisable to switch to a milder skincare routine.

After applying this cream, my entire face started to burn terribly and then became covered in red patches. It was horrifying, I have never experienced anything like this before(( I was using Bioderma Sebium sensitive and everything was great, but we decided to try this one and I ended up wasting my money.
