Hair Texturizing Lotion - American Crew Classic Light Hold Texture Lotion
A pleasant product that makes hair smoother and more manageable. It reduces frizziness in porous hair (though not completely). It doesn't make hair feel wooden unless you overdo it. It lasts a long time: I have been using it after every hair wash, and I have had the same bottle for almost one and a half years (!).
As for the downsides (or peculiarities, depending on one's perspective):
- It provides a weak hold. I can't achieve any particular hairstyle solely with this lotion.
- It slightly reduces volume, so it's important not to use too much and not to apply it to the roots. It should be spread only along the length of the hair.
- Hands need to be washed with soap after applying the lotion.
The optimal way to use it is to squeeze 2-3 pea-sized amounts of the lotion onto the palm, rub it between the hands, apply it to the hair without massaging it into the roots, and then comb through.
