Reviews about Joico Moisture Recovery Conditioner for Dry Hair

Out of all the conditioners I have tried, and I have tried many expensive and cheap ones, this one is the best. I will keep using it over and over again or just buy it once in the largest size. It smoothes, moisturizes, and makes my thick porous hair silky. It also effectively functions as a hair mask, even when I leave it on for just 3 minutes. This is personally my top choice and something I will come back to repeatedly.

Strange things happen to my hair after using this conditioner. When you apply it, it seems like your hair will be as smooth as silk. But when you rinse it out, they become stiffer and slightly frizzy. I tried washing with just the shampoo from this line, without the conditioner (although I never do that), and the softness of my hair was even greater! I have never encountered anything like this before.

The conditioner is really good. It has a pleasant smell. After using it, my hair looks well-groomed and there is less frizz.

The conditioner is not worth it at all. The only positive thing is that it smells nice. It doesn't provide any moisture for my dry and porous hair. I am thrilled with the moisturizing shampoo from the same series, but the conditioner is a waste of money. The only thing that pleases me is that I ordered it in a small size.

Super, super, super. My hair looks like it's from a commercial - smooth, shiny, and voluminous. I am extremely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone with dry hair.

I didn't like it. It made my hair dry and porous. I tried it on both natural and bleached hair. I once had a procedure done at a salon using this brand and the results were incredible, even though it washed out in just 2 weeks. I hoped that it would at least be better than a $50 supermarket conditioner, but it's even worse. The minimal effect lasts for only 5, or even 15 minutes. Only if you leave it on for longer in some warmth can you see any effect. There are much better and cheaper conditioners out there. Overall, it didn't suit me at all, and I won't be buying it again.

Great conditioner, it moisturizes my dry, brown hair very well. It also does an excellent job of preventing frizz. I highly recommend it.
