I have a weakness: testing niche perfumes, I can't help myself. This Montale fragrance is always at the top of the rankings in English-speaking TikTok, it's a favorite among many Western perfume bloggers (mostly men). So I decided to give it a try.
Yes, it's pleasant, unisex. I was expecting an atomic bomb, overwhelming projection and longevity, but what I got was a fluffy kitten (with retracted claws). It's long-lasting, especially on clothes. It lasts around 10 hours on the skin. In cool weather, it's quite moderate, it won't be overpowering even in the office. I have much stronger perfumes in my collection.
Now let's talk about the scent itself. For me, it's raw, doughy, with vanilla, sugar, raisins, saffron, oils, and cream, and it fully captures the aspect of live yeast. I've loved the smell of this dough since childhood, but do I want to smell like it? Maybe occasionally. It's sweet, aromatic, and still doesn't cross into feminine territory. Here, I give credit to the perfumer. It's hard to break it down into notes, everything is combined into a single composition. I don't sense any rose or bergamot. I can only pick out a slight iodine note of saffron.
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), I didn't understand the hype surrounding it. It's pleasant, long-lasting, but not the "best winter fragrance" for me. It lacks a central core. All the notes are muted, and I don't get any oud. I like its longevity and sillage, but it falls short of love. It's not similar to Bakara.

Are you intentionally selling originals to some and replicas to others? I just received my order, and it is a completely different scent from the one my friend purchased from you a month ago. This is the first time I have encountered such a situation with your company. I would like to return or exchange it, as it is completely different.

I picked up my perfumes today, and what can I say about this fragrance? It's modern, stylish, and sexy. The scent fills the space around me. Bakara lovers will enjoy it because it has some similar notes, although I can't say it's very similar because the fragrance leans more towards Montale style. 100% original, it smells like half of a wardrobe. And it's closed... The packaging surprised me, but the absence of a box didn't bother me. Fast delivery, excellent quality. Grateful.
I ordered this product for myself and it has a wonderful scent. It is long-lasting and a little goes a long way, so the small bottle is convenient to carry with me. The key is not to overdo it, just a couple of sprays from a distance are enough. The delivery was prompt and the product arrived in a pouch. Thank you.

From the very first notes, Montale's signature is evident.
It is sweet, rich, and multi-faceted. Its longevity is extraordinary, even on my skin, which often "eats up" perfumes. Just two sprays are enough.
For me, it is reminiscent of sweet freshly baked buns and a handful of fragrant roses.
It is very complimentary and leaves no one indifferent.
There may be some similarities with Mancera Vanille Roses and Montale Intense Cafe, but I didn't hear any resemblance to Rouge Bacarrat 540 in it.
Nevertheless, it is unique.
I would love to have 100 ml, but carrying 20 ml in my purse is very convenient.
The perfumes are interesting, I liked them! Just one observation, why does the color of the bottle differ from the original? (It should be black, but a golden one arrived.)
I blindly ordered this product based on excellent reviews for its scent. However, I did not share the enthusiasm because it reminded me of a fragrance I simply detest, Bakara. More precisely, it is a blend of intense coffee and Bakara. The scent is unbelievably long-lasting and leaves a trail. Unfortunately, I did not like it at all and ended up selling it.
