It scared me, thinking it might be a reaction, but it wasn't. Alcohol is the third ingredient, followed by a strong menthol sensation. The conclusion is that if it feels like a hot pepper mask on undamaged skin, what kind of effect will it have after cleansing? Hellfire? Definitely not. There are much milder and better products out there. After cleansing, the alcohol only burns the skin even more and causes dryness and scabs. Something else could have been added to the formula for disinfection purposes.
