Calming Light Cream for Reactive Skin Comfort - Derma Series Calming Light Cream
The cream is useless, my skin with acne is peeling, it didn't help at all!
Recently, a cosmetologist recommended it to me. This is a soothing lightweight cream that smells nice, provides comfort to the skin, does not harm it, and provides hydration.
My skin type: combination, very sensitive with breakouts and couperose. It is stated that the cream is for sensitive, reactive skin, but when applied to the face, it starts to burn. The burning sensation subsides after a few seconds. The second drawback is its consistency. It is indeed a sticky gel that takes a long time to absorb and leaves a sticky feeling for about 20 minutes.
My skin type is reactive, combination, with acne. The cream is good: it doesn't clog pores, moisturizes just enough, doesn't roll off when applying makeup (I apply it 20-30 minutes before makeup), the texture is very lightweight, with granules that dissolve when applied to the skin, soothing. It doesn't fight blackheads and inflammations, but that's not claimed in its effects.
I have sensitive skin. The only cream that doesn't clog my pores, moisturizes and soothes perfectly. Right after applying it, there is indeed a sticky feeling, but you have to wait for it to absorb. It mattifies the face, in my opinion. It lasted for about six months. A fantastic cream.
I have combination skin and I have tried many different creams from both expensive brands and mass-market ones, but finally, I have found my cream!!! It absorbs wonderfully, it's lightweight and non-greasy, and it has a pleasant subtle scent.
I really like this cream, as it is easy to apply and absorbs quickly. I only needed one tube for 4-5 months of morning and evening use. It doesn't leave any shine on my combination skin, although I do use foundation on top.
I wasn't very pleased with the cream. It is lightweight and absorbs quickly. The consistency is more like a gel, semi-transparent, with microgranules that dissolve very quickly upon application. However, on my combination skin that tends to be dry, it leaves a shine and stickiness. I much prefer the Hydra-protect cream.
