Salicylic-Azelaic Peeling 'Antiacne' - Cocos
My 16-year-old daughter has severe acne. With the permission of a dermatologist, we have done several peels, which have slightly improved her condition. The doctor prescribed a course of Doxycycline. After 2 weeks, her face cleared up significantly, but there are still post-acne marks. Now we are using salicylic-azelaic peels to combat these rednesses.
I have wide pores that easily get clogged and also have rosacea. I haven't used any serious peels before, so I was expecting a reaction from this peel.
I did my first procedure. I hardly felt anything, kept it on for about 20 minutes, layered the peel, slightly moistened it to prevent it from drying out. When I washed it off, there was absolutely no effect. But the next day, my pores tightened slightly, indicating that the effect will accumulate over time.
Overall, I am satisfied with this pleasant product and will continue using it. However, I was expecting a more radical effect from it. Perhaps my skin is accustomed to such manipulations.
Great Ukrainian manufacturer. I have been buying these peelings for many years. They perform their function at an 8 out of 10 level. I am always satisfied with the results. Sometimes there is discomfort on the skin, but this is completely normal. The main thing is to use a restorative care product after use.
I sincerely recommend it!
I have currently done 5 procedures. 4 with an interval of 8-9 days, and the fifth one almost a month later (I was sick and decided not to take any risks).
The first time I endured it for 10 minutes, and from the second time onwards, I comfortably held it for 20 minutes. It stings, but not too intensely. However, it is worth mentioning that I regularly use acids, so maybe I have a certain tolerance.
I am 30 years old, with combination skin prone to acne (greasy subcutaneous pimples from sugar, lactose, and during PMS), and I have post-acne, so I occasionally do at-home peels in courses to improve the pigmentation situation.
From the first application, the skin texture was perfectly evened out, and a couple of active inflammatory acne dried up. Immediately after the procedure, the post-acne did not differ from the "before" state, but during the week, they significantly lightened (they can disappear for months on their own). Now, after 5 procedures, the dark ones have become pale pink, and the raspberry/cherry ones have disappeared. I am more than satisfied with the result. I think one bottle will be enough for another 5-7 procedures (I do face and neck), and I plan to repeat it in the fall.
And if a representative of the brand is reading this, can I use a pipette for applying the peel? I know that some products come with a pump to avoid contact with oxygen. I haven't risked it yet, but it would be much more convenient for me to use a pipette. Thank you in advance for your response.
I have a dense combination skin that is generally accustomed to chemical peels.
For home use, this peel is really great. It makes the skin smooth and tightens the pores. In the first few days, the skin becomes more oily, but then it becomes more matte instead. I will alternate it with the Jessner peel from the same brand.
The cosmetologist recommended this salicylic-azelaic peeling for skin sebum regulation and blackhead cleansing. I chose this product to try it out and used the brand's tonic for 7 days prior to allow my skin to adjust to the acids. There was no strong burning sensation, but the instructions stated that if it dries out, I should moisten my face with water to reactivate the burning sensation. I kept it on for 15 minutes and applied the neutralizer twice, once on the peeling itself and once when I washed it off. The result was mattifying and pore tightening, and my skin didn't get as oily throughout the day.
From the first application, changes in the skin will be noticeable. After a few sessions (according to the instructions), it will become even better. The skin truly has a better tone, and blackheads are less noticeable. I gradually increase the application time. It feels very pleasant on the skin afterward - it's so invigorating.
I am very satisfied with the result; I used it in a course. To enhance its effectiveness, I applied it with a derma roller on problematic areas and covered my face with a damp tissue before application.
Thanks to the detailed instruction in the box, everything is clear and understandable. From the first procedure, you can already see the results. I have completed 4 "cycles" now and the skin tone has noticeably evened out. Breakouts have diminished and blackheads are less visible. Thank you, this product is definitely worth attention. I also use the peeling neutralizer from the same manufacturer.
I didn't buy it here, but on the manufacturer's website, but I still want to leave a review. This exfoliant is effective and feels comfortable, although it stings a little when rinsing off. After 5 treatments, my post-acne marks noticeably lightened and my skin became brighter.
I have done one procedure and held it for about 7 minutes. It started to sting, so I rinsed it off with water and baking soda. I will gradually increase the number of times I use it. I can see that the blackheads on my nose have lightened significantly.
I am satisfied with this brand. I used to have a mandelic peel with the maximum concentration, but it completely stopped stinging and didn't help at all. This one seems to be quite good, so I will continue trying it out.
Awful and sad experience. I used it twice, following the instructions, except for using a tissue. I did two courses with a 5-day interval. Three exposures for 7 minutes each and the second time for 10 minutes. The only thing I got was new breakouts and slight flaking around the sides of my nose. I bought it to get rid of post-acne marks, but instead... I got new and very severe breakouts, which I struggled so hard to get rid of. In short, I ruined my skin twice before the New Year with something that took me months to heal. I do not recommend it.
This product was recommended to me by a cosmetologist, and after a month of use, my skin has improved. Girls who claim that it only works occasionally are mistaken. Just because the product doesn't sting doesn't mean it's not effective; it simply means that your pores are not heavily clogged.
For its price, this product is superb. However, it is only suitable for oily skin as there are slight peeling effects after application.
This is a really great exfoliating product. I saw immediate results. After using it, I stopped using foundation. I definitely recommend it.
I really liked it. I tried a salicylic peel at the salon. After that, I bought this product. It is cheaper than one salon procedure, and the effect is the same, and it lasts a long time. I did 2 sets of 4 procedures in winter and spring. I have half a bottle left. After the first procedure, my face stung. The subsequent ones stung less and less. I kept it on for 15 minutes. I rinsed it off with cold water.
The effect is definitely there. On my problem skin, breakouts have become less frequent.
The product works inconsistently. Sometimes it heats up, sometimes there is no effect at all. I'm not sure what it's related to.
I am writing a review about this peel after using it weekly for 6 weeks. There are noticeable results - pores are reduced, skin becomes smoother, post-acne spots disappear, and there is a cleansing effect. The skin does peel slightly, especially in sensitive areas like the nose, around the lips, and chin. It is important to use a nourishing moisturizing mask after the peel and consistently apply a moisturizing cream at night. I definitely recommend it!
I liked it, there are visible results. I haven't used peels before.
Do not buy it, alcohol is the main ingredient, it will only ruin your skin, intensely and for a long time.
