Sun Protective Face Cream, SPF50+ - La Roche-Posay Anthelios Oil Correct
I ordered samples and it was there. Despite all the negative reviews, I really liked it! :) The cream mattifies my skin! And not many sunscreens do that! Yes, it does tend to smudge a bit, but that's not a problem for me. The main thing is that it protects and mattifies, and it works excellently on my skin. It has a pleasant smell and texture. I liked it. I will definitely order the full size.
I have learned how to use it in a few weeks. In the summer, I apply it to cleansed skin. And in the colder period, I apply it to moisturized skin beforehand. To avoid any discomfort, it is necessary to apply a very small amount of the product, like a pea-sized amount for each area of the face.
The product is terrible, it makes the skin greasy and it's not easy to apply it on the face! It clumps and pulls the skin((((. The shine only emphasizes the oily and enlarged pores. I really wanted to have both care, sun protection, and treatment((((.
I cannot understand it completely! But it did not impress me. At first, when applied, it made my skin look oily, but after 30-60 minutes, the skin becomes more matte and less oily. HOWEVER - it rolls off. It is just awful. I don't understand why, especially on the cheeks and jawline, it rolls off like some kind of paste. However, if you rub it with effort on the chin, it starts rolling there too!
I didn't like it, it's very greasy. If you apply as much as you need, it will become pancake-like. It took me half an hour to apply it for makeup to somewhat absorb into the skin.
I don't know who it gave an oily shine to, but for me, it actually dries out my skin to the point where it feels uncomfortable and makes a rustling sound. However, it does mattify, that's a fact. I was waiting for the sun to finally try it out. It applies well on tinted skin, especially when using patting motions. Applying too much may cause it to roll off, so I try not to touch my face during the day. My skin is mature, oily, and porous. I use the entire line.
Just disappointment, that's it. Money wasted.
I didn't buy it here, but I really love this brand. I've always liked everything about it, except for this cream. It's terrible. It rolls off very easily, giving you the feeling that you're smearing rubber on your face. It tightens everything up and doesn't feel pleasant at all. It's definitely not worth the money!
It's a shame that I started reading reviews after purchasing. I bought it in Europe for 18€. I tried applying it on cleansed and toned face, and after my cream (I use the Effaclar line), but this cream rolls off very easily, my face shines, and it feels uncomfortable. I will look for another product because I can't use this one.
Good day. I have been using this cosmetic product for a long time and have never had any complaints. However, this time I decided to try this SPF and I deeply regret it. It really rolls off and doesn't help at all. It's a waste of money... Everyone seems to have the same issue.
This cream is amazing. I hesitated for a long time before buying it, but I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I have oily and porous skin, but this cream helps to mattify it without bleaching it out. It applies smoothly and evenly, although it tends to slightly clump up, but it's not a big issue. After using it, my skin feels well-nourished and taken care of.
I didn't buy it here, but upon the consultant's recommendation - as a counter to shine).
1. It is difficult to apply, you need to quickly spread it because within a couple of seconds it solidifies into a gel-like layer and when touched, it rolls into little pieces. Everything becomes sticky and those pieces cannot be removed.
2. And then the face simply shines! Hair sticks to it, as if you're in oil. I cleaned it with mattifying wipes, about 10 of them, and they become completely transparent.
3. The protection is probably good because I didn't get sunburned.
I don't want to buy more and there is still a lot left in the jar. So there you have it).
Manufacturers, please advise if it's okay to use mattifying wipes after application? Does it reduce the level of protection?
Greasy, shines on the skin, causes eye irritation, sticky. Very disappointing.
The product irritates the skin and has caused breakouts. Additionally, the price is too high.
I bought this product at the pharmacy, but I still want to leave a review. One of the positives is that it has a pleasant fresh scent and gives a cooling sensation when applied, without leaving a white residue on the skin. The texture is more gel-like than creamy. The main downside is that it can become sticky and clump together if you apply a bit more than necessary or try to layer it with foundation. Overall, you should test it out to see if this option suits you.
I give it a 5, despite its flaws. There is a slight greasy shine on the face after application, and it is heavy on the skin. However, it can be prevented from rolling off by simply not touching the face with hands, and everything is fine. It feels very light on the face, almost imperceptible, and has a pleasant scent. I gave it a high rating because it works very effectively. After two weeks of use, acne has practically disappeared, and it protects the pores very well from dirt. I believe that the results outweigh all the drawbacks.
The worst SPF I have ever had. It causes severe irritation on the skin, regardless of the amount applied.
This cream stings my eyes, even though I apply it far away from the sensitive areas, only up to the orbital zone. Additionally, it tends to roll off during application. I didn't like it at all; this brand has much better SPF options.
Well, I must admit that I didn't quite understand the product. I bought it at the pharmacy, but I often rely on reviews on this website when choosing cosmetics, so I decided to contribute.
First of all, I was surprised by the texture. It has an oily SPF texture that is quite difficult to distribute, somewhat similar to moisturizing night masks.
The scent is pleasant, not overpowering, and quickly dissipates from the face.
The ingredients are very good, especially the presence of niacinamide and zinc.
I apply it over serums and moisturizing creams (The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA, Marine Hyaluronics from The Ordinary, The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%), and it rolls horribly. I think that the hyaluronic acid and the sufficiently dense cream provide enough hydration, so the claim that it only rolls on unprepared skin is not entirely true.
Another disappointing aspect is that no matter how you twist it, you can still feel it on the skin. It stops being sticky or greasy in appearance about 5-10 minutes after application, but it continues to feel like a high-coverage foundation. However, you quickly get used to it.
I could tolerate the rolling because of the ingredients, but the price still makes me expect something better from the cream. So, that's why I gave it three stars.
I bought it at the pharmacy. It is not worth its money at all. It was my first disappointment from La Roche! The cream is quite thick, greasy, and it also rolls off terribly! I do not recommend it.
