Regarding the smudges, I agree with the comment below, as they do tend to appear when you apply several layers for a more intense makeup look.
I didn't really like this mascara. It was unbearable to wear it for a month after purchasing it because it left marks above and under my eyes. However, it started to apply smoothly without leaving any marks afterwards. But please be aware that it tends to flake off gradually.

I tried Vivienne Sabo waterproof mascara with a stage effect and I was impressed with its formula. It applied smoothly without any clumps and didn't flake off. However, this latex mascara was a complete disaster: it was very thick, almost impossible to apply properly, and it also flaked off onto my lashes. I have never experienced a waterproof mascara that smudged like this before.

This mascara is absolutely terrible. It clumps and sticks my eyelashes together.
The mascara is excellent, and I have something to compare it with. The brush is convenient and moderately soft. It applies and lengthens well, and when applied in 2-3 coats, it gives a luxurious volume. Yes, it does clump when removed, but that doesn't bother me. It's a great alternative to Cabaret, which has been discontinued.
