I expected more from Matrix. I bought the entire series for blondes based on reviews and I am disappointed. My dyed hair feels like straw after using the shampoo, it becomes a tangled mess when wet, and the conditioning effects from other products in the series are non-existent, leaving my hair still feeling like straw. The only thing that salvages and gives my hair a somewhat decent appearance after using this line is a mask from another brand, a balm from the Preference hair dye range, and an oil for the ends. It's a shame.

I am not a blonde, and my hair has recently been dyed black, so I decided to give this product a try. The product line is quite good, with no strong smell, it lathers well and makes it easy to comb my hair (I also use the shampoo, conditioner, and oil from this brand). The first opening protection is missing. The hair feels stiff to the touch like straw, and after using any conditioner, it is difficult to comb through. There is a slight itching sensation on the scalp. Many hairs fall out during washing. The slight lift at the roots is not worth mentioning compared to the other negatives.
