    The serum is oil-based instead of water-based. It doesn't absorb without a cream on top. This might be a problem for some. But for normal, dehydrated, dry skin in winter, it's just what you need. I've been using it for a month, expecting miraculous results, but so far, I only notice the absence of tightness.
