Reviews about Salicylic Acid Serum

I agree with the negative reviews. I finished the bottle, used it daily, and followed the manufacturer's recommendation to use the same brand cream for better results. However, there was no effect. Prior to this, I also finished a niacinamide serum from The Ordinary, and again, there was no effect. I am disappointed with this brand as I have tried three of their products and all the money I spent was in vain.

Background information - oily problematic skin. For me, this product is pointless, even thermal water is more effective. As a "bonus," the skin becomes sticky after application and this stickiness doesn't go away until the next morning, whether you apply cream on top or not. I haven't noticed any antibacterial effect, and inflammations don't heal faster with this serum.

This thing is useless. It had absolutely no effect after using half of the bottle. Later, a cosmetologist told me that the percentage of salicylic acid was too low.

I have already used half a bottle, using it every day, and I haven't seen any results. It's a pity I wasted my money.

I have been using this serum for a week. I bought it to lighten pigmentation and dry out inflammations, and it works great for both. In a short period of time, everything that used to cause concern and couldn't be treated even with pharmacy remedies disappeared (you can imagine the scale). My skin is dry, which made me a little hesitant before purchasing the serum, as it is advertised for oily and combination skin. However, I use it before applying Physiogel cream, and so far I can't complain about dryness. I also recommend applying the product directly to inflammations and pigmentation for those with dry skin. In conclusion, I recommend this serum specifically for solving the problems that the manufacturer claims. Despite its fairly affordable price, the product works even better than some other pricier brands.

Mixed feelings about this serum. On one hand, it helps to reduce inflammation faster and prevents new ones from appearing frequently. It doesn't excessively dry out the skin (unless you neglect moisturizing). However, the salicylic acid is supposed to unclog pores and cleanse them. This is the main reason why I purchased the serum. Unfortunately, I never experienced this effect. Even though I have used up the entire bottle. Therefore, I won't be repurchasing it. Overall, it does work fairly well on problematic skin.

This product effectively cleanses the pores, although it foams too much when applied and leaves a sticky residue.

Awful serum. After using it for a week, my breakouts got worse, and it really dries out my skin.

This serum is excellent, it has greatly improved the clarity of my skin. Any breakouts disappear overnight. However, since I purchased it (April 20, 2018), the price has increased by 100 UAH! I will wait for a sale. Overall, it is an excellent product.

Excellent serum for problem skin! I have been using it for just under a month, but I can already see results - the severity of my acne has decreased. I will definitely purchase it again! It's my new holy grail.
