AHA & Hyaluronic Acid Face Peeling - The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA
The best exfoliator! I have been using it for six months now. First of all, it is suitable for sensitive skin, and secondly, it wonderfully evens out the skin tone and makes pores less noticeable. The texture is very oily, so I apply it in the evening without using a cream afterwards. Definitely a 10/10, will buy again!
I started with the 5% peeling with lactic acid from this same brand and was very satisfied, but this one surprised me even more! My skin has become much better! I have sensitive skin, but there were no redness or breakouts at all. For a few days, my skin lightly peeled on my face. It definitely evens out the complexion, but what impressed me the most is that blackheads became significantly less and pores shrunk. I use it once every 10 days.
This is the best exfoliator that evens out skin tone, helps with breakouts, and gently cleanses away blackheads.
"I have noticed a reduction in skin breakouts and an overall improvement in skin tone. I highly recommend it."
Good day! I tried using the peeling at home for the first time, and the results were amazing :) After the first application, all the pigmentation became red (it stung a little, but it was bearable) and became much lighter. I highly recommend it!
I have purchased this exfoliator twice. The first time was amazing, a perfect 10/10. However, the second purchase was completely different. The packaging had a different color, and the consistency was more watery. It had no effect, instead, it caused a burning sensation on my face and resulted in the formation of blackheads.
The peeling works, but not magically. I have moderate acne, VERY oily skin, and large subcutaneous inflammations. It definitely won't get rid of those. But it does remove recent acne marks and small new ones.
In the morning, my skin feels pleasant, as if it has been polished, and I even notice a slight healthy glow.
Since my skin is accustomed to acids, I don't feel any sensations. I apply it at night and don't wash it off. It should be applied for a minimum of 2 hours. In the morning, it may slightly tingle in some areas, but that's it. No redness or anything.
The base of it is indeed oily. However, I don't feel it on my VERY oily skin. Just use it as instructed - a few drops on the entire face, instead of pouring it like a serum from a pipette.
It also turns out to be very economical. So, for the price, it's a very good option, you can go for it.
I really liked the quality of this product. It is very economical to use. The consistency is pleasant and it easily absorbs into the skin. I use it twice a week and I can see noticeable results. Overall, it is excellent.
I applied it three times and everything was fine. But when I reapplied it, my entire face started burning... even though I never have allergies to anything. And now my skin is red and feels like it's on fire.
This product is terrible. It burns my face and leaves it covered in patches. I absolutely do not recommend it to anyone!
It is suitable for combination skin, the effect is great, it quickly eliminates breakouts.
I have been using this product for over a month now. I have combination skin type, but during spring, I noticed an increase in sebum production not only in the T-zone. Unfortunately, the serum did not live up to its claims and instead made my face feel oily in the morning. It was quite unpleasant. I tried using it in different combinations, but I did not see any effect in my case. Therefore, I have no desire to continue using it.
I have been using this product for several weeks and I have noticed a significant improvement in the condition of my skin. It has become clearer and the pores are less visible. I have not experienced any negative effects. I am satisfied with it and will continue to use it in the future.
I decided to try acids because they said it was the gentlest option for beginners. At first, I used it three times a week and then a little more often, but my skin started peeling a lot and I got a burn from this acid. It scared me a bit, so I stopped using it, even though that was the only downside. I think I will buy a cream/balm to restore the skin's protective barrier and resume using it over time.
It evened out my skin tone and reduced breakouts. I am very satisfied with the outcome!
For the first time, I am using acids for my face. I start by applying a peeling mask for 30 minutes, then I cover it with a moisturizing cream. The skin in the morning is incredible. I don't have any problems with my face, I just wanted to even out my tone and appearance. This product completely handles it.
After the first use, my face reacted normally. I don't know what changed, but the last two times I applied this peeling, my face had red spots and itched... Despite these reactions, I want to say that I didn't notice any cleansing or pore tightening. The product did not suit me.
Seems pretty good, it slightly dries out pimples but doesn't dry out the skin. If you apply cream on top after an hour, it works well.
I used to take lactic acid before, but this one has a more pleasant smell. It doesn't sting and it improves the appearance of the skin. I don't have acne, but sometimes I get breakouts, so it worked great for me. If you need a stronger acid, I recommend trying the toner from The Ordinary.
I had breakouts (black spots and closed comedones) on my forehead and chin. I used this product every night for a week after ordering it. The results were incredible. I had tried applying acids before, but this product is simply unbelievable. I highly recommend it.
I ordered the ordinary products for the first time after hearing many good reviews. Towards the end of winter, my skin was moderately dry and had some areas that were slightly flaky. I regularly had painful, red, pus-filled pimples that took a long time to heal. Now, after using the products for two weeks, I can see results. My pimples have disappeared, they started to heal during the first week and then vanished completely. My skin has become more moisturized. It's the first time in a long while that I see my skin without any red pimples. I am satisfied with the results! I want to mention that it doesn't remove oil glands, and there are still some subcutaneous pimples (they were there even before using the peel), for which other products exist. I used it every evening, washed my face with Cerave, and then applied approximately 3-5 drops of the peel on dry skin. If I felt my skin needed more moisture afterwards, I would apply some cream, but that was enough for me.
So far, this is the best exfoliator. I bought several "exfoliators ago" and still think about it and want to buy it again. Other products from this brand are also great. This one solved the problem of subcutaneous acne of unknown origin once and for all. The skin is clean, smooth, without bumps and blemishes. In short, it's a forever love. The 5% milk one is also not bad, but it's significantly weaker, suitable for everyday use. This one is not for daily use. I used it in courses, with several procedures, and then took breaks because my skin was in such a condition that I simply didn't need to use it. In short, I definitely recommend it! It's like having a salon cleaning at home for a ridiculous amount of money!
The peeling is excellent. In the morning, the skin feels smooth, it reduces inflammation and tightens pores. On the second day, there is a slight peeling of the skin.
This is a great lightweight night peeling. In the morning, my skin feels smooth and delicate. I'm satisfied!
In my opinion, this exfoliating product is very weak. It's not worth the money. My skin is not acne-prone, just showing signs of aging. It does not tighten pores, and I don't know what it actually cleanses, but I haven't noticed any difference before or after using it. It's just a watery solution.
I initially purchased a bloody peeling product and found that it left my skin nourished and well taken care of. I also bought an almond product which was very good as well; it effectively dried out small breakouts and I am very satisfied with it. I highly recommend both products.
I really liked the peeling. I have been using it daily for 6 days. The number of blackheads has significantly decreased and my skin has become more even. The peeling has an oily texture, so after applying it to the skin, you need to wait a couple of minutes for it to absorb and for any greasiness to disappear. There is no need to rinse it off. It is also very economical to use.
The peeling is more like an oily serum. I apply it twice a week at night. It didn't cause any redness. I leave it on for about 20 minutes and then apply cream. In the morning, my skin is more matte and has an even tone. I have combination skin that is familiar with acids, so this product suits me. It's very nice that I managed to get it at a discounted price.
At first, I liked the product as it seemed to make my under-skin comedones disappear. However, in less than a week of use, I started getting red pimples on my forehead, which I have never seen on my skin before. Considering that I haven't used any other new products, it is quite likely that they appeared after using this peel. I will wait for the rash to go away and then repeat the experiment with the peel. I will update my review later.
I managed to order it at a promotional price of 188 UAH (EU), and I am satisfied with it. I felt the effect from the first use. This product dries out breakouts in the form of pimples and dissolves a significant portion of black spots. I deduct one star for its oily texture and the same feeling on the skin after application.
This is an excellent product! I have problematic skin with redness and decided to try this peeling. The results are visible after just a few applications. The breakouts, redness, and skin peeling have all reduced. I would rate it 10 out of 10!
I really liked it.
This is an excellent exfoliating product! My skin feels incredibly soft and well-nourished after using it. It effectively tackles breakouts and prevents new ones from appearing. I highly recommend using it, especially if you have normal, slightly dry, or problematic skin.
I didn't buy it here, but I really love it. I've been buying it for two years already.
Ladies, don't fall for the advertisements and low prices and avoid purchasing products from this company as they are ineffective, contain terrible dyes that you will have to wash off for two days, cause allergies, and do not provide the promised results.
Be careful before using this product. The first time I applied it to my face, I experienced this "lovely" irritation. After 15 minutes, my skin was covered in red patches. As soon as I noticed, I rushed to wash it off. Luckily, my skin looked normal in the morning. The next time, I applied it by mixing it with a moisturizer - this time there was no irritation. I have been using it for over a month, but I still don't understand it. It feels disgusting on the skin, it's sticky, takes a long time to absorb, and doesn't really do anything. I won't buy it again.
I bought this product in Germany, from a makeup store, and I really liked it. I purchased almost the entire range. It didn't cause any irritation after using acid-based products, and my skin became soft. I could already see results after the first few applications. I apply it at night, and it does make my skin slightly oily, but it works great overnight. I highly recommend it.
I am very satisfied with this peeling because it keeps my skin in good condition without pimples or breakouts. I apply it at night, in combination with the toner from The Ordinary. My skin is smooth, even, and without bumps. It removes black spots and I no longer need any scrubs or masks to achieve even skin tone. I'm glad I tried it because before, I used serums with niacinamide and lactic acid, but I didn't notice much of an effect with them, whereas this one is amazing. It will always be a part of my skincare routine.
I wouldn't call it a peel, rather a serum. After using it, my skin feels moisturized and soft. It seems to slightly dry out irritations, but doesn't affect acne scars. If you're looking for something gentle with acids, then this is a good option.
I really liked the exfoliator. I apply it at night without rinsing. The condition of my skin has improved. In the morning, it peels a little, but it's not a big deal.
This exfoliator is incredibly gentle and it worked perfectly for my enlarged pores, acne, and dry skin. It was just perfect! I wasn't expecting such a great result; it was love at first use.
Intensive peeling. It should be introduced into the skincare routine carefully, once every few days. I ignored this rule and applied it two evenings in a row. Although there was no redness, burning, etc., my skin later peeled a little. But it dried out all active breakouts. Now I'm trying it twice a week, and the results are gradually becoming visible))
Although the manufacturer claims that the product is suitable for all skin types, almond acid is only recommended for combination and oily skin. It reduces the production of sebum, making it less sticky and drying it out. Therefore, it is not suitable at all for normal and especially dry skin. It can over-dry the skin, as often mentioned in reviews. However, for porous combination/oily skin, it is a must-have.
I didn't buy it here, but I still want to leave a review. I didn't like the peeling, it dries out my skin and makes it feel tight, causing my face to peel. That's all. I didn't notice any positive effects on my skin whatsoever. I will go back to using The Ordinary's milk peeling.
As one of the steps in facial skincare, a peel is a wonderful thing! Of course, it won't work alone and no miracle will happen. Proper skincare is always necessary for results. I use a peel 1-2 times a week, at night. In the morning, my skin feels toned and hydrated. I really like the effect and have no regrets about the purchase! It's worth every penny.
After applying it, even the toner makes the skin red, although there was no such effect at the beginning of use. The result cannot be compared to a professional salon peel. It did not suit me for daily use, as it started to dry out my skin.
I didn't understand this product. It doesn't have any accumulative effect, it dries out the skin and clogs the pores.
I really like it, it works - cleanses, evens out, and smoothens without drying. I add 2 drops to my portion of night cream and wash it off in the morning. In my opinion, the name "peeling" doesn't suit this product, it actually says "direct acid" on the packaging.
The exfoliator is effective and does its job well, as I noticed an improvement in the evenness of my skin tone after just one use. However, it is incredibly drying and makes my skin uncomfortably dry. It's impossible to use any cosmetics after using it. My skin has been flaking for several days after using it. I applied a few drops in the evening after thoroughly cleansing my face and washed it off in the morning. Can anyone advise me on how to get rid of this unpleasant flaking?
The only positive aspect is that it doesn't make my skin greasy. The acid is very gentle in its action. I hardly even feel it. For the first 5 minutes, there is only a slight warming sensation on the skin, it doesn't even sting. It doesn't make my skin greasy, but it also doesn't dry it out. I haven't noticed any special effects. Maybe it's because my pores are smoothed out thanks to my favorite toner?... This peel didn't remove any pimples, redness, or other hidden imperfections. Maybe it will have an effect when combined with other acids? As a standalone product, I didn't understand this acid peel. But I also can't advise against using this product. In the end, everything is individual.
