Centella Asiatica Face Serum - Purito Centella Unscented Serum
This serum is excellent as it effectively moisturizes the skin and evens out the tone.
I have been testing it for two months now. It's not bad, but don't expect wonders. It moisturizes a bit, but if you have redness or small inflammations, it won't calm your skin.
Ladies, for those of you who recently purchased this product, could you please share your thoughts on its scent? I didn't buy it here, and it seems to have no fragrance, but leaves a subtle unpleasant note on my fingers. I suspect it might be a counterfeit.
I have almost finished using the entire bottle, and I must say, this serum is quite underwhelming. In hot weather, it only slightly moisturizes the skin, and that's about it. However, when the cold weather arrives, it feels like you haven't applied anything between toner and cream. It's simply a gel with no noticeable effects. My combination skin, which doesn't have any major issues, benefits from lighter active ingredients (not retinol or other heavy artillery). Perhaps this serum would be suitable for young girls under 25.
I have been testing this serum for over a week now and I have something to say about it. On the positive side, the packaging is convenient (although cheap), it absorbs quickly, has no scent, and doesn't feel sticky on the skin. On the negative side, considering its price, the ingredients are quite poor, I don't see any significant moisturizing effect, and it clogs my pores (which is unusual for me after using such a product for many years). In conclusion, for this budget, one can find a higher quality product from Korea or other manufacturers. I definitely won't buy it again.
This product is amazing! It is lightweight, moisturizing, and effectively reduces inflammation. I have a bad habit of touching my face at night, which always results in morning breakouts. However, with this product, I completely forgot about that issue.
I didn't buy it here, but I'll leave a review to help other girls. I bought a toner and serum with centella. Now I have pimples and clogged pores (((( I just threw them in the trash. I haven't had this problem in a long time.
I really liked this product. I use it because I have sensitive skin.
I did not understand the serum at all. I bought the travel version, but it does not provide any moisturization. Perhaps it slightly soothes, but there is no other effect. It does not clump, but it does leave a sticky feeling. I definitely will not purchase the full-sized product.
This product has a lightweight texture that quickly absorbs into the skin, without any scent. It doesn't cause any breakouts. It is suitable for my dry and irritated skin. It moisturizes well and I really liked this product.
I use the mini version. At first, I didn't understand what was so special about it, but then I liked it even more than the regular serum with niacinamide. The texture is light and not sticky. In a month, my skin condition has improved significantly, the spots have lightened, and any local breakouts heal faster. It didn't cause any breakouts. I apply a snail mucin cream on top for moisturizing. My skin is combination type. It is perfect for the summer.
After a month and a half, I started getting small pimples from it. It moisturizes well, but it worsened my skin condition, making it look exhausted and less firm. I stopped using it, and my skin recovered within a week.
Moisturizes adequately, but... after the first use, small subcutaneous pimples appeared locally in the morning (the cream I applied after this serum contained ceramides, I have been using it for almost a year). I have combination skin, the texture of this serum is thick, I applied one pump pressure. After a few days, I tried it again in the morning, but decided not to follow up with cream, the situation remained the same - subcutaneous pimples (not comedones). For now, I will set it aside, maybe I will try it again later.
Unfortunately, the serum caused extreme irritation. Redness appeared all over my face along with bumps under the skin. My skin condition became horrendous. Now, I have to spend a considerable amount of money on its treatment.
I didn't notice anything special about it, perhaps it even clogs pores a little. I have combination skin with a really oily T-zone. I like Purito products, but this one didn't impress me. Next time, I probably won't buy this particular one.
It effectively moisturizes and softens the skin. However, I did not notice any significant impact. It does not diminish redness or pigmentation, nor does it even out the complexion. In my opinion, the price is too high.
Unfortunately, I have not yet come across a cosmetic product that would suit everyone. I tried the mini version of this serum, but it did not agree with my dry-prone skin. It had zero effect. However, my friends with combination and oily skin found it suitable.
I am 35+ years old, and I have rosacea and dry skin on my cheeks, while the rest of my skin is normal. I do not suffer from acne. My problem is rosacea, which can be treated with laser and maintained with skincare. I have been using this serum for about 4-5 months. My skincare routine consists of Perricone cleanser, Purito toner, this serum, and Clinique day/night cream suitable for my skin type. I also use vitamin C and SPF 30 in winter, and SPF 50 in summer. I do not wear makeup at all during summer.
I cannot say that I am pleased with this serum. It is just ordinary, nothing special. Of course, considering its price, I cannot even call it a serum. It is just a face gel, with a pleasant texture to refresh the face during summer. However, I am satisfied with the toner. It really soothes the skin and feels pleasant.
But the serum is not impressive. I will not repurchase it, although I might consider it for summer due to its price. I cannot say that it works for soothing the skin. The toner and a basic cream also do the job.
After using it twice a day, I switched to using it only in the morning, and another serum in the evening.
I give it 4 stars because it has the right to be priced this way, has a pleasant texture, and may be suitable for younger skin that has not been heavily affected by external factors.
I really liked this serum! It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave any stickiness behind!
I didn't order here, but maybe my review will help someone. I decided to switch to Korean skincare and, after reading reviews, bought a ton of products from Purito, including their Centella line. While the toner and cleanser were just okay and didn't harm my skin, the serum and cream caused me to break out in small pimples. Unfortunately, my introduction to this brand coincided with the summer period when I already had inflammation issues, so I blamed it on the season. If I had known, I would have stopped using them earlier because my face became terrible over the summer, with red patches of acne, constant cysts, and itching. Through trial and error, I discovered that the reaction was specifically to these products. Once I stopped using them, my skin started to return to normal, and I resorted to La Roche-Posay, which is even cheaper. Overall, I will never recommend this brand to anyone, quite the opposite. Perhaps it's an individual intolerance, but another girl also mentioned a similar reaction.
