Reviews about Pierre Cardin Matte Chiffon Touch Lipstick

The shade "193 brown red" does not match the picture or the name at all. It has a pronounced purple hue that cheapens and ages it. The texture of the lipstick and the bottle, which shows all fingerprints, also did not appeal to me.

I bought this lipstick in the color Magenta because I wanted something unusual, and Natalie's review from 08.05.2022 helped me make a decision. I really liked how it looked in the photos. I am a brunette with very dark eyes and fairly light skin, and the color suited me and I really liked it. I think this color is better for the cold season, but it can also be used as an evening option or in the summer. The lipstick itself is very good - it's firm, pigmented, and will last a long time. Because it's not too greasy, it stays on the lips for a long time. And it doesn't smudge. Sometimes I mix it with a light or brown pencil, and it creates an interesting effect. I definitely recommend it.

The shade 193 brown red turned out to be a regular red-violet color. Its texture is creamy, which annoys me because I can feel it on my lips. Maybe it's a matter of personal preference, but I prefer more "dry" lipsticks. However, the worst part is the smell. It has a sweet scent that lingers for a long time after application and feels suffocating. I didn't notice any dryness afterwards.

The shade I received was the result of mixing lip pencils and lipsticks. It is a pure, chocolatey cool tone with no hint of pink. The quality is excellent, it has a pleasant and subtle scent, it stays on wonderfully and does not smudge, and it is truly matte. I use it with a lip pencil on moisturized and powdered lips.
