The product is advertised as hypoallergenic and non-irritating - this is absolutely true, but it performs terribly as a makeup remover. My eyes were lined with eyeliner and waterproof mascara - removing everything was a real struggle. I dampened a sponge, applied it to my eyes, without rubbing, just held it there - the eyeliner barely budged, and only about 15% of the mascara came off. In the end, I had to remove my makeup with Belenda micellar water, which also doesn't sting the eyes.
