I ordered it for the first time. I have a face wash from this brand for problematic skin, so I decided to try their cream. It worked well for my dry and sensitive skin during the winter season. However, I assume it might be a bit greasy during the summer.
I purchased the Aven cream gel as a replacement for my favorite Vichy gel. So, in terms of properties, it is practically identical. However, after analyzing the ingredients, I was very disappointed. It is not the best, especially because it contains potassium hydroxide, which can cause blindness and severe burns, especially on the sensitive skin around the eyes. Although the manufacturer recommends using the product, including on the eyes.

I have been using it for several years now and I am satisfied. It is perfect for my combination skin (oily T-zone and dry and sensitive in other areas, with redness). I usually apply it in the evening, not too thickly, after washing my face, and in the morning I use an emulsion with SPF. My skin feels moisturized and radiant! I also recommended it to a friend with sensitive skin, and she is also amazed!
This product did not work for my combination skin. It made my face feel sticky and shiny. The smell is unpleasant and overpowering. The moisturizing effect is mediocre.

This is an excellent cream, and I wasn't even expecting it. It's perfect for my combination skin. As described below, it not only moisturizes the skin but also fills and smoothes it, so I use it at night as well.
I bought the entire Avene skincare series (moisturizing): cleanser, toner, thermal water, serum, gel-cream. I have dry skin. I can't say how each product works individually, but together they have an effect: my skin is moisturized, soft, and velvety. Definitely 5 stars. The only downsides for all the products are the scent and packaging. I would have liked a wow fragrance and packaging that isn't made of flimsy plastic (except for the thermal water, which is odorless and comes in a metal can).
Cleansing gel:
Doesn't foam, neutral scent, barely noticeable, slightly medicinal but not unpleasant. Cleanses excellently without drying out the skin.
Toner lotion:
Needs to be shaken before use. The consistency is medium - not quite water, but not a toner either. Light, medicinal scent. Doesn't sting or cause irritation. Cleanses and nourishes. Leaves the skin soft.
Thermal water:
Excellent. Not sticky, no scent. Moisturizes. Better than La Roche-Posay and Uriage. The cap closes tightly, no complaints about the water at all.
Serum:
The product is good, but the packaging is plastic... it doesn't feel like it's worth 600 hryvnias (even more at the pharmacy). They could have used a glass tube. The dispenser and the lid are of very poor quality. Disappointed with the packaging. I like the serum itself, it's not greasy, but nourishing/moisturizing. I can apply it in the morning without makeup sliding off. The scent is exactly the same as in all the other products.
Gel-cream:
Plastic packaging (((. The consistency is gel-like, light, but it's great!!! It suits my dry skin. No film. Works well under makeup.
Definitely, I will buy all these jars again. I would like the scent to be more pleasant and the packaging to be of better quality because that's what ruins the impression.
Gentle, lightweight, with a subtle (personally for me) scent. It applies smoothly, forming a protective layer that helps retain moisture (I apply it on slightly damp skin). However, it may not provide enough hydration for extremely dry skin. Overall, it is neutral.
This product has a solid texture, making it unsuitable for wearing under makeup during the summer. However, it works great as a night cream as it doesn't roll off the skin. It provides slightly less hydration compared to the previous Avène Hydrance Légère moisturizer (which has been replaced by the Light Emulsion version). Nevertheless, it is still better for summer use compared to other products in the Avène lineup.
I did not feel any special moisturization from it, but it definitely left me feeling sticky.
For my dry and sensitive skin, the moisturization provided by this product is simply not enough...
