The shampoo from this series is much darker, while the mask is very light. I'm not sure how it will tone light hair. I bought it for my dark hair, but it didn't really give any results.
After reading reviews, many people say that the mask does not tone, but for some reason, I was still compelled to purchase it out of curiosity. And it's true: the mask does absolutely nothing for color. It is so pale and violet on its own that I can't imagine it being able to tone. It's a shame that the manufacturers are so careless with their product.

For those who say "it doesn't work," it means that you have insufficient lightening level. It works perfectly on level 10 and leaves the hair soft and manageable.
If someone's hair is darker, it will give results when used in combination with the shampoo from the same series.
I do not fully agree with those who claim that it does not sink. Even from the first use, it is noticeable that the hair has a more neutral, rather than yellowish, shade (as seen in the photo after the first use, the entire length of the hair was closer to the color of the hair extension, and it became more pronounced). Yes, in the roots where the pigmentation was initially more yellowish/red, the effect is not as visible, but it does neutralize the yellowish tone to some extent. However, where the hair was already lightened, the effect is clearly visible. Therefore, I conclude that it tones well and gently, but on pre-lightened hair. If the color is already red, then it is probably necessary to first dye it in the desired tone or use semi-permanent toners. For maintaining a neutral blonde, it works fine. I don't consider it as a mask, but rather as a toning balm, as I felt that it lacked nourishment as a mask. However, I have other products, masks, and oils for that purpose. I only bought this one for toning.
The balm has gone bad. I used to use it before and it was always purple in color, but now it's not. The quality of the product is good, but what happened to the color? I only used it once, so I can't say anything about lightening strands, unfortunately.

I ordered this product because I had tried a similar one in France. The difference between the two is like night and day. The care is decent, but not suitable for severely damaged or dry hair. As a toning product, it may work on ash-colored hair, but if your hair is not perfectly cool-toned, it won't do the job. It's too weak. L'Oreal Professionnel Silver Neutralising Conditioner works much better (although it comes at a different price).
I use this product in combination with the shampoo. I leave it on my hair for about 10 to 15 minutes, otherwise, the results are hardly noticeable. The product makes my hair soft.

After using this product, my hair turned into a dull grayish color. I strongly advise against it. I had to use hair dyes to get rid of this unfortunate outcome, and it took about a month to completely get back to normal.
