Professional Hair Steam Styler - L'Oreal Professionnel Steampod 3.0
After using an old iron, I decided to try this one. I am a powdered blonde in some places... Well, what can I say? My hair has become light in some areas - it's awful ;(
I bought this iron 3 years ago. It did indeed straighten well, and my hair didn't curl in the humidity, but after a year, my hair still started curling. And now it's completely broken, the service center said it can't be repaired, the heating device is broken. The price is very high for such a short period of use.
This is simply extraordinary, the hair is soft and smooth to the touch, it holds the style even in humid weather, after sleep, after hair ties and hairpins - the hair is straight and smooth like silk. And all of this is possible with a steam temperature of 180 degrees. At a time when Babyliss was drying my hair at 220 degrees and the style lasted only until the first hint of moisture. I am amazed.
A slightly better flat iron that still damages hair, I don't understand why it's so expensive.
I didn't buy it here, it was given to me as a gift, but I still want to leave a review because I read a lot of reviews here and this makeup is my favorite online store. I debated for a long time between version 3.0 and 4.0, but ultimately chose 3.0. And I started dreaming about it. Yesterday I received it and honestly, at first I was grateful because it was significantly larger than my old one, although the design is not to my liking and could have been better (for the money, it could have been higher quality). But let me tell you, it works wonders! Ladies, I braided my hair at night and woke up with the same hairstyle. But that's not all, I went outside and it was raining, I went to work and when I looked in the mirror, I was shocked to see that my hair was still straight. And that's not all, even at work, when I tie my hair up, there's no crease, and I didn't even notice any kinks. So here I am now, writing this review in pure joy. Yes, it's not cheap, but I have struggled so much with my hair and hated rainy and humid weather because of it. That's why I highly recommend it!
My hair is as straight as after a keratin treatment. A regular styler doesn't give such smoothness. I am satisfied! My hair is naturally curly, so I have been straightening it for over 15 years, and I have something to compare it with.
The best thing that happened to my hair, perfectly straight. Worth every penny.
The best "flat iron"! But it is definitely expensive.
I have been using it for about 6 years and I don't want anything else. It is an amazing thing and worth every penny.
I have been using it for 4 years! It is definitely worth its price. It straightens without leaving any creases. It does not dry out my hair. I use it with the special Stimpod series hair serum and cream.
I purchased this product at a fairly attractive price compared to other sellers. The delivery was organized perfectly - packaging, documents, and even a small gift. It straightened my curly hair wonderfully without causing any damage - although it's not Stimpod cream. I used regular standing water and boiled water after osmosis (fortunately, the water in our region is normal).
Delightful. Don't hesitate. It's worth the money. The effect is impeccable. Hair doesn't break, and the ends aren't dry. Hair grows much faster. The appearance is perfectly straight and smooth, just like after a salon visit. I have been using it for about a year.
I was advised to buy it a long time ago, but I hesitated because my old Babyliss is in excellent condition, and I just didn't want to spend the money. I thought I would be trading one thing for another, but at a higher price. I bought it right after a haircut, and I have to say that my hair is in excellent condition. It is much less prone to split ends compared to a regular flat iron. I have been using it for four months now, washing and styling my hair every day. Before, I had to trim off the length I was growing because daily styling was taking a toll on my hair. Now, I am even considering skipping the next haircut, which is a good indication of the condition of my hair after using the flat iron.
This is AMAZING!! The result of a salon styling, I created a stylish wave in just a few minutes for the first time. The hair is shiny, and the volume is superb! I applied the Stimpod cream before using it. For those who dream of a Dyson styler, I recommend paying attention to this product. Price/quality!! I watched many reviews, consulted with a stylist, and I DID NOT MAKE A MISTAKE!!! Highly recommend it!
At first, I was really disappointed because my hair looked the same after using this product. However, later on, I realized its magic when I spent half an hour outside in very damp weather and my hair didn't seem like I had just mopped the floor. Yes, the perfect styling effect was gone, but my hair remained straight :)) With a regular flat iron, it takes me only 10 minutes to make my hair look even worse than before styling.
I have been straightening my hair with flat irons for about 15 years. I have tried all kinds of them... My second-to-last flat iron was also a steam one, but from Babyliss. It had a completely different design compared to the SteamPod and the effect was different too, as if I had straightened my hair and then entered a high humidity environment. Then I bought a Babyliss with larger plates and a built-in comb without steam. Let me compare it with the SteamPod. I actually liked the SteamPod more. I straightened my hair at a lower temperature and only had to go through each strand once. If you hold the flat iron correctly (brushing downwards, following the arrows), nothing gets pulled out and you don't even feel the iron going through your hair, probably thanks to the movable plate. I had smooth and shiny hair even after using the old iron. I assume that the SteamPod will cause less damage to my hair. Thermal protection and good care are a must! I alternate between a protein spray and hair oil from La Biosthetique and Olaplex Bond 6 cream. My hair is long, not dyed, and in good condition.
Super styler! I have been using it for several years. The first time I had straightening done at the salon, if I didn't have to wash my hair, I don't know how long that effect would have lasted - silky, smooth, and pleasant to the touch hair. This styler has a wide plate, perfect for thick and long hair. I definitely recommend it, I don't understand how anyone could not like this device at all.
I bought a flat iron hoping for a miracle for my hair! Before this, I had a different brand, but I fell for the steam feature. I have porous blonde hair that requires proper care and high-quality devices. After using it for six months, my hair didn't get worse and noticeably grew. I noticed that if I quickly run it through my hair, the strand itself becomes warm, not hot. I only use the temperature of 180 and distilled water. I like it, but I can't say that it makes my hair super smooth. The downside is that it has few temperature settings. That's why I only run it through each section once, no more. I think 180 is too high for blondes. I give it 4 stars because I honestly expected a bit more from the purchase.
I didn't buy it here. I used it a couple of times. So far, I don't understand what makes it better than other irons. It straightens blonde hair no better than my previous tico iron, which was 5 times cheaper. The curling feature is terribly inconvenient - the clamp is wide, but there is no heating element. The hair slips off. It's a hassle to curl, and it only creates loose waves. It doesn't give me tight curls. The minimum temperature is 180 degrees! My previous budget curler curled my hair at 150 degrees at lightning speed. The hairstyle lasted from wash to wash, and my hair was always in great condition. With this one, I feel overheated. And you can't glide quickly through the hair - the iron is slippery, you have to move carefully to avoid the curled strand slipping out. I'm really scared of damaging my hair.
I thought I would fall in love with this iron from the first use, even after two uses. I haven't noticed any extraordinary effects at all. It's not very convenient to use. And it's heavier than my previous one.
I hope I'll get the hang of it. Right now, I just don't know. My expectations were definitely much higher for its price.
I purchased the iron a couple of months ago. The styling is indeed very fast and easy. My hair feels soft, silky, and shiny. I used it happily 1-2 times a week for three weeks (with Loreal Steampod heat protection). Plus, I always use Loreal Professional Total Repair shampoo and conditioner.
After three weeks, my hair became horribly split and started to break, even though it was in good condition before using the iron. I have cool blonde hair. So the claim of it being harmless is a highly debatable issue. I was really disappointed in that aspect.
However, the styling is amazing. I will keep it, but I don't recommend using it more than once or twice a month for blondes.
