This is one of the best pencils I have ever had. The pencil is soft enough, but not too much. In my opinion, it is perfect for precise contouring. The brush is also very effective - just one stroke along the base of the brow is enough to fill in gaps and add color. I got the shade deep brown and it is a bit dark for me, so I only apply a small amount of the pencil and do more blending.
