Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Pomegranate - Eau de Toilette
I won't write much about the composition of the fragrance because scents are a very individual thing. There is something about this perfume that I like, probably because it usually has a fresh tang and a slightly bitter note, along with the recognizable green vibe... However, this time I can detect a soapy smell, like some cheap shower gel, so primitive and unpleasant that it's actually satisfying to know that it's absolutely (!!!) not long-lasting. Those who mentioned it lasting for two hours are correct, after a couple of hours, it was gone. But there's one more thing that "bothers" me (I know all the website's responses about only selling originals, etc.), but does everyone have the same issue with the cap? If you've been using this brand for a while, you'll know that it should be completely different! And I specifically went to different stores to check, but I couldn't find this cap anywhere. By the way, I ordered two at once, the second one being nectarine, and the cap there is normal.
I didn't like them at all, there was no pomegranate, no tea, no lightness. The aroma was terrible. I didn't buy them here.
It doesn't last even 2 hours on the body or clothes, and the scent is not even close to pomegranate, more like sour tea. I didn't like it.
I ordered this fragrance for everyday use based on the description and reviews. However, I disagree with the claim that it is similar to Escada. Escada is sweet, whereas this fragrance is fresh and slightly bitter, with a hint of bitterness fading away.
In the initial notes, it reminds me a lot of Armand Basi In Red. However, as time goes on, the bitterness subsides and transforms into a powdery undertone.
Do you remember the chewing gum with pomegranate? This product is very similar to that! It tastes delicious, perfect for the summer, not long-lasting, and has a stylish packaging. I really enjoy such products.
I ordered from the EU and the delivery was fast, and the packaging was reliable. Thank you! As for the scent, it is exactly like 4711 white peach and coriander. I don't know how that happened, especially since the longevity of 4711 is much greater, despite it being a cologne, while this is an eau de toilette.
