The texture is a regular white cream. The scent is moderate. After application, there is a slight tingling sensation and then even a coolness, but it goes away after a few minutes. It is a middle ground between nourishing and moisturizing. There is no feeling of tightness - it prepares the skin perfectly for sleep. It absorbs evenly. I liked it. I recommend it for dry and normal skin.
