Foaming Gel Cleanser - Payot Pate Grise Gelee Nettoyante
I bought this product without considering its high price because I was drawn in by the brand and numerous 5-star reviews. At first, the gel really impressed me - it cleanses thoroughly, washes off completely, and doesn't dry out the skin. Perhaps it has some sebum-regulating properties because my skin was less oily in the morning after using it overnight. It has a light and pleasant fragrance. I was thinking of purchasing it again, but then I read the ingredients list.
It turns out that this gel contains two components with a moderate level of danger, meaning they should not be used continuously. Since I need to wash my face twice a day, I won't be buying this product again.
I have combination skin, but it tends to get dry in winter, so this product did NOT work for me! It doesn't foam at all, it tightens the skin a lot, and has a very strong, unpleasant smell that lingers after washing. Additionally, the tube with the gel looks cheap and as if it had been opened before (although I understand it hasn't). Lastly, I had to wait a very long time for delivery from the EU (2 weeks!). I do NOT recommend it!
Everyone has different skin and reacts differently to each product! It suited me perfectly, foams nicely, and smells pleasant! As for dryness, I can't say much because I always apply a moisturizing cream immediately after. But overall, I am very satisfied.

Great face wash! It foams optimally - not too much and not too little. It has a light, neutral scent. It rinses off easily. There is no film left on the face. The skin doesn't feel tight. It feels amazing after washing, as if the skin can breathe... I highly recommend this product!

It dried out my skin very, very much. I have oily problematic skin and it's impossible to moisturize it with anything afterwards. My skin is just flaking off. Maybe it would be better for summer, so I'm not giving it a one-star rating. But overall, this product didn't do anything good for me.
