I was afraid it would dry out my skin and make it even oilier, but so far I haven't noticed anything like that. It's said that you should rinse it off immediately, but I leave it on for a few hours to enhance the effect and I don't see any side effects. It has a bitter taste, so don't try to kiss anyone after using it. It didn't work for me as a deodorant because it may reduce odor, but it changes to an unpleasantly sour smell.
I purchased this product as a deodorant. The solid block was compressed well. Although there were small chips on the edges, I had to smooth them out to avoid scratching. And the deodorant works wonderfully. The odor disappears, and even perspiration has decreased.
