Liquid Lip Cushion - Givenchy Le Rouge Liquide Lipstick
Anyone who has tried this lipstick will understand what velvet feels like on the lips. I love it! The color goes on perfectly evenly, you can apply it with a thin layer and it will look soft, like a tint. Or you can apply it with a thick layer for an evening look. Even in winter, it goes on smoothly on dry and cracked lips, hiding all imperfections.
The concept is interesting. I have it in shade 106. It applies easily and evenly. The finish is velvety, and the lips are completely dry, with a powdery effect. However, it does not dry out the lips! The only downside (which may be a plus for some) is that it does not create a precise lip contour (unless you use a lip liner). Also, it is unclear how much of this lipstick is left. It lasted a long time, but it ran out at the most inconvenient moment, as it usually happens according to the law of universal cruelty.
I tried samples of three different colors of this lipstick, and I was pleasantly surprised by how fantastic it turned out to be. It applies smoothly and evenly, without smudging or spreading. It also stays put quite well, even when eating. Overall, this has become my perfect lipstick, even though I have tried many others before and none of them were right for me!
