Driven by the irresistible desire to add a unique touch to their usual look, many charming women decide to change their hair color. The traditional procedure using an activator can be extremely damaging to the health of the hair, significantly deteriorating its aesthetic appearance.
Therefore, a perfect alternative to the classic coloring method for the modern lady is the Sattva Ayurveda Natural Herbal Hair Dye, made with henna and enriched with medicinal herbs. Its color palette features warm chocolate-brown shades. This cosmetic product interacts gently even with weakened strands, maintaining the optimal level of moisture and generously enriching them with nourishing elements. It effectively strengthens, carefully restores, and gently softens curls.
Note: the color will develop over 48 hours, so the final color will be achieved 48 hours after application. During this time, do not wash your hair with shampoo.

Wash hair with a shampoo (without silicones). Mix a quantity of powder with warm water at approximately 50°C to obtain a smooth texture. Leave to cool for 30 minutes. Wear gloves to protect your hands from stains. Divide hair into four sections and thoroughly apply the mixture from the roots to ends in each section. Wrap the head in plastic film and put on a towel to maintain the desired temperature. Leave on hair for 2-3 hours. Wash off with warm water.
Note: color changes within 48 hours, so the final henna color will be obtained 48 hours after application. Until then, do not wash the hair with a shampoo.
The hair dye is excellent, especially when compared to others. It has a wonderful herbal scent, and even after a couple of months (when the hair is wet), it still smells great. However, it does leave stains on white towels and pillowcases, just like any other non-natural hair dye. The color fades completely after about six months. I bought the red and dark brown shades, and the brown covered the red perfectly, without any hint of cherry color after washing. The color is not immediately noticeable after dyeing, but fully develops on the second or third day. It does slightly dry out my porous curly hair, so I immediately apply conditioner and a booster. My hair remains stiff for a while. It does not stain the skin or hands. The package includes two caps, gloves, and a brush. It is conveniently packaged and lasts for two applications (my hair is longer than shoulder length by three fingers). If I want a darker shade, I will order indigo from here. Previously, I bought from Rossmann.
Attention!! This is not a hair dye, but simply Colorless Henna, which you can buy for 20 UAH!! I have natural light brown hair!! I bought the Blonde color, waited up to 3 hours on my hair, and got no results!! I followed the instructions and even tried it on different strands! It's frustrating that 320 UAH went down the drain and I had to wait for over a week for it to arrive from Poland!! A suggestion for the website: indicate that this is "colorless henna" and not blonde, and definitely not a hair dye as it doesn't color!!(((( 300 UAH is not the same as 30 UAH...
I purchased the shade dark brown and have already dyed my hair twice. I saw this shade and the blogger's hair color turned out beautiful and rich. I followed the instructions exactly, but the color only lasts until the first hair wash, with a very weak brown tint, and after a week, a reddish hue starts showing through. The dye fades and even before the first wash, everything turns blue. The condition of my hair remains unchanged. It's a pity that it didn't work well on my hair.
I tried the Blonde shade and it was amazing. The product is made with natural ingredients, predominantly herbal extracts and only a small amount of henna. It barely stained my hands while applying and gave a yellowish color without any reddish tones. The shade was more towards a natural blonde rather than a bright yellow, which looked very natural on my hair.
The Nut Brown doesn't provide any color(( I added a lot of coffee - the picture improved slightly.
The zipper of the packaging inside the jar was poorly closed, and it doesn't snap shut for me.
I purchased the Dark Brown shade, expecting it to be slightly darker. It did a good job of covering my gray hair, unlike the Indian Lady Henna. The packaging itself is of high quality, and the powder is excellent. However, the packet was not great. I couldn't fasten the zipper tape; it was too thin. I had to use tape to seal it for later use. Overall, my impressions are very positive.
Since I get dermatitis on my scalp from chemical dyes, I choose natural ones. My super sensitive skin felt a slight burning sensation, but overall, it handled it well.
Pros:
- Ingredients: henna and other herbs, safe for pregnant women, which means no toxic substances. After dyeing, the hair looks healthy, shiny, thick, and voluminous.
- The jars are enough for 3-4 applications on shoulder-length hair. My hairdresser mixed 50 grams, and there was still half left after applying. It is easy to apply, not as messy as regular henna.
- It matches the advertised shade. I chose dark brown, but it turned out very dark on my chestnut hair, which I didn't expect.
- The package includes a couple of disposable gloves and two caps. The caps are of high quality, so I can reuse them.))
- We mixed it with 50-degree water, as instructed. I left it for just under 2 hours. Tip: rinse with water and vinegar after washing off for color longevity.
Cons:
- It sheds! Immediately after dyeing, you need to wear dark clothing, or else the collars will turn black. I washed my hair with shampoo the next day, and the shedding stopped.
- It poorly covers gray hair, only about 50%. The gray strands turned out lighter in tone, but since I have very few, it's not very noticeable. If you have a lot of gray hair, it will be unevenly dyed.
- Maybe my stylist mixed it too much, but the dye dripped and stained my turtleneck and towel. However, everything came out with Vanish.
- It gradually fades, and you need to touch up after a month.
Overall, it is an excellent, economical, and high-quality dye.
