MAC Lip Pencil Lip Pencil

I ordered a pencil in the shade "whirl" - the shade itself is nice, but the application on the lips is problematic. For some reason, it doesn't color well and I have to use a pencil from another brand for a precise contour.

I bought a Dervish colored pencil and I am disappointed. The pencil is a very neutral color, which looks nice when you hold it in your hands. However, the disappointment lies in the fact that it doesn't apply well to the lips, it's as if it doesn't draw at all. You have to rub it on, and it even hurts the lips. When you draw a line on your hand, it seems okay, but you have to apply pressure. However, on soft lips, it's really unpleasant. By the time you manage to color your lips, they are already hurting from all the effort. I tried other pencils in an official store abroad, and it seemed like they were softer and applied smoothly and pleasantly. But with this pencil, something is just off.

I absolutely love MAC pencils! I have several shades, and I recently purchased Stone. It's a dark gray-brown pencil. You can also use it to create gray eyeliner looks if desired.

Great pencil, can be used without lipstick. Very pleasant price.

I really liked the pencil, the shade Boldly Bare is very successful. It feels pleasant on the lips and is completely imperceptible. I had previously used Lancome, but I prefer Mac more.

Finally, I purchased the internationally renowned MAC lipstick in the shade Boldly Bare - an absolute nude color. However, my impressions of its quality are mixed. It strongly emphasizes wrinkles and any dry patches on the lips, even if they are pre-moisturized. The lips for this lip liner should be in perfectly healthy condition. Additionally, the pencil feels drying on the lips. I did not like it...

I fell in love with these pencils from the very first application. I first bought the Boldly Bare shade, which is the perfect beige-pink nude. The second one, in the shade Spice, reminded me of the Gosh pencil in the shade 001 nougat crisp. However, unlike Gosh, M.A.C does not crumble. The third pencil I got was in the shade Cherry, and I liked it less than the others. It was a bit dry and more suitable for lip lining. I am very satisfied with my purchases!

I tried Boldly Bare and the color is simply perfect for me.

I ordered 2 pencils in the shades of Spice and Plum. I believe that the product is not original as claimed here, as the pencils arrived without the branded box.

The color palette is really good, and the product itself lasts a very long time. However, it cannot withstand cups of tea with cookies, so I do not recommend it. (Art Deco is much better in comparison.)
