Unfortunately, I did not perceive the expected distinct fragrance of freesia. After some time, a very faint hint of freesia can be detected. In my opinion, the dominant scent in this fragrance is lily of the valley with a touch of lilac. It is very floral, and it is indeed important not to overdo it.
I purchased this perfume hoping to catch a whiff of my beloved freesias. There used to be a magnificent perfume called Sonia Rykiel LEau de Sonia Rykiel (unfortunately, it has been discontinued), and it truly emitted the scent of freesias, even though they were not listed in its notes! As for Diptyque Ofresia, the fragrance is worthy....after some time, you can faintly detect the freesia. It is a VERY floral scent: flowers, stems, all seasoned with a touch of pepper. The perfume is long-lasting, has a good sillage, and is expensive and beautiful! But the key is not to overdo it, or else a headache is guaranteed! The delivery, as always, was excellent!

The fragrance is not overpowering, it doesn't irritate, and it lasts a long time on the skin. It has a very pleasant lingering scent. I was surprised when my dog started licking my wrist after smelling the perfume! I've never seen that before! As always, thank you for the promptness and excellent service!

The fragrance perfectly suits the skin. The subtle spicy scent doesn't spoil the freesia at all.
