However, after applying it, my face became shiny but without any film, and it felt comfortable, nourished, and protected. I used it overnight, and in the morning, my skin felt soft and rejuvenated. This cream is great for dry skin during the cold season. After about a week or two, I noticed some clogged pores, but it turned out that I hadn't been cleansing my skin thoroughly enough. So it's not related to the cream itself.

A great cream for quickly moisturizing very dry skin. However, it does leave a greasy shine after application. Minus one star for the high price of the cream considering its small size.

The texture of this cream is more like an ointment, very thick and viscous. But oh, the effect it has! I apply it after showering before going to bed, and in the morning, my skin feels hydrated and somehow firmer. Especially during the dry winter period, when my skin tends to become very dry, it works wonders. It eliminates flakiness. I wouldn't apply it in the morning, though, as I think it may not work well with makeup.

+ It's natural! And it seems to be vegan.

+ It works decently for hands. You wait a bit, endure the stickiness and heaviness, and then it absorbs.

Cons:
- The scent is strong, not for everyone. Those who prefer subtle, light scents like vanilla/coconut might not be satisfied.
- The texture is extremely thick. It's impossible to spread the cream after squeezing a pea-sized amount. You have to repeat it a couple of times just to cover the outer layer.
- It has a sticky texture. I thought of applying it on my body (as recommended), but for my dry skin, it's a terrible experience. It's unpleasant and difficult to apply, and I don't want to moisturize my skin with it before bed because everything will stick.
- It doesn't heal dryness on hands. At the beginning of winter, my boyfriend and I used Lipikar from La Roche-Posay because we ran out of hand cream. It turned out that it healed dryness and cracks perfectly. We've been using Skin Food for a couple of months now, and there's no reaction at all.

I didn't like the cream, in my opinion, it's overrated. It doesn't moisturize my dry hands well. The smell is not very pleasant. For this price, there are better options available.

However, Lanolin and wax are not the best ingredients to regularly apply to the entire face. If your skin barrier is compromised, it can clog pores in the long run. Therefore, it is best to use it only on small dry patches.
