I do not recommend this product to anyone. It is simply petroleum jelly. I would rather buy it at a pharmacy. The quality of the product is getting worse with each passing year.
I bought this oil at the pharmacy. I read reviews online (many reviews) that many people received spoiled products. I did too. Its consistency is not quite like that of natural shea butter. The smell was unpleasant, as if it had slightly gone bad. I know how unspoiled oil should smell. They probably imported a huge batch of spoiled oil. It was a long time ago, about 3-4 years ago. But the residue remains. I order oil from another manufacturer and I'm very happy. I won't mention the name here because it seems to be against the rules of the website. But I'll tell you about the manufacturer - you'll understand. Because pure shea butter (not butters and creams with shea butter) from such manufacturers is very rare. Look for it on this website - and you'll find it =)
I bought shea butter with grapefruit 7 years ago and I really liked it. The scent was amazing. It's a pity that they stopped producing it. I wanted to buy it again, but I could only find plain shea butter.
The oil is just like any other oil, as all vegetable oils have their own scent. I use it after showering and for body massage, it warms up very nicely with friction and heats up the muscles. The skin feels velvety smooth to the touch after using it.
The oil moisturizes the skin very well. I have a problem where water dries out my hands. No cream could solve this issue, but this oil helped. The scent is not very pleasant to me, but over time, you get used to it and don't even notice it. I definitely recommend it, as it lasts a long time.
This oil is excellent - I use it for my cuticles and hands, and it heals and moisturizes very well. I don't detect any scent. I highly recommend it.
I use it for my hair, and it is penetrating. It nourishes and restores excellently, even better than coconut. Now it's my favorite for both body and hair.
This oil is really cool! I love it. By the way, I was worried about the smell, as mentioned in the reviews, but it is very subtle and barely noticeable. It smells more like nuts with milk, and there is a hint of melted fat in the background. But it's very faint, unless you stick your nose right into the jar. It moisturizes my lips well and absorbs after a couple of hours. I apply it often and it doesn't dry out my lips at all! On the lips, it mostly smells like nuts with milk. Overall, I like it. I bought the 90-gram one because I needed it for homemade deodorant. But now I feel reluctant to use it all up. Most likely, I will order more.
My first Shea butter. Everyone talks about the terrible smell. If I stick my nose in the jar, I can smell a sour vanilla yogurt scent. I wouldn't say it's a perfume fragrance, but it's not terrible either. It has an interesting loose texture. Melts in my hands. I apply it on my lips, they look beautiful, no shine like coconut oil, it absorbs better.
"The smell is terrible, and the consistency is different compared to the one I purchased at the pharmacy, which was the same oil from the same manufacturer."
I have previously only ordered shea butter from one specific manufacturer, but due to its small volume, I decided to try this product. The first butter always had a natural, nutty scent, but this one has an unpleasant, sour smell, almost like it's gone bad. Hmm... I am disappointed. I have never opened products from packages before, but the recent couple of incidents have shown me that it is necessary to check all items and not purchase something you won't be able to use.
This is the best face oil for any wrinkles! Thank you, makeup.
This face oil is excellent! It's a game-changer for dry skin. I highly recommend it.
Once upon a time, I read that Africans used this product to heal wounds because it has healing properties. I was able to confirm this myself. Scratches and cuts heal incredibly quickly with it! No pharmacy cream or ointment provided such an effect. Moreover, I used it to treat very serious and deep wounds, and they healed instantly without any problems of infection or oozing. I tested it not only on myself. So, for those who didn't know, give it a try. It will heal any small wounds, cuts, and won't even leave a scar. And as for skincare, it's a whole different story.
Excellent oil. I use it as a regular care instead of a night cream. Before applying, I warm it up in a water bath. I apply a small amount of warm oil on my face and neck. The effect in the morning is astonishing. The skin feels lifted and velvety. It soothes the skin perfectly. No cream has ever given me such results. I will continue using it.
I really liked this oil. I had to get used to the small particles, but at least it doesn't spread and doesn't have any smell. In terms of moisturizing, it's better than coconut oil. However, I was expecting it to come in a dark glass jar, but for some reason, it arrived in a transparent one.
I really liked this oil. It has a thick consistency, but it's not as solid as cocoa butter. It contains small particles, but they melt quickly in your hands and it's easy to scoop it out from the jar. I use it for my hands and face, and it moisturizes really well. The jar is made of dark glass, while the oil itself is light in color and almost odorless. Special thanks to the store employees for the gift, it was very nice!
The oil is amazing. It's a lifesaver for my dry and porous hair. It also nourishes dry areas of the skin and lips very well. I will definitely buy it again. The delivery was excellent, as always. Thank you so much!
I really liked the shea butter. However, the price is twice as expensive as in the pharmacy. In the pharmacy, 45 grams of oil costs 47 UAH, while on the website it is currently 50 UAH for 25 grams. This means that some products are more advantageous to buy in stores.
I liked it! Positive effect! Free shipping! The staff at Maycap is very attentive.
I really liked the oil, as well as everything else I've tried from Aromatika. The oil is solid, but easily melts when rubbed between the hands. I use it for my hands and body. I think it would be too heavy and dense for the face. It moisturizes wonderfully. You can mix it with lotion or add it to masks. The oil has a pleasant, slightly nutty scent. I recommend trying it for those with dry skin.
I received this oil as a gift. The design is in the style of Aromatika: a dark brown jar with a wide opening (mine is 50 mg). The oil has a solid consistency but melts on the skin within a few seconds (I take it directly from the jar with my fingernail and transfer it to my skin, then massage it in). It doesn't melt in the apartment during the summer, unlike coconut oil, so it's great for traveling. I think it will melt at the beach though...
The scent is very delicate, I would even say it's very neutral, but pleasant. Because of this, it's suitable for nighttime use and can be combined with my other skincare products. The usage is minimal, even with daily use, it will last me at least 1-1.5 years.
The effect is amazing!
Every evening after removing my makeup, I apply a decent layer of oil on my eyebrows, the area around my eyes (or sometimes all over my face), and my hands. I immediately put on disposable gloves and keep them on for about 30 minutes while I read or browse social media. Then I take off the gloves and go to sleep.
I've been doing this for a month now. My eyebrows have really thickened and my skin has improved significantly! The only time I've experienced such an effect on my hands was with the Welleda cream with calendula, which has become quite expensive now.
I didn't have this effect on my eyebrows before. However, in the winter, you need to regularly apply the oil. The effect started after about 10 days, I think. I realized that the gaps in my eyebrows disappeared and it's much easier to apply eyebrow pencil on them now.
I didn't notice any effect on my eyelashes at all. So, there's no need to rub it into the roots of the lashes.
