Reviews about Melvita Hair Care Gentle Purifyng Shampoo

This is the only shampoo that doesn't give me dandruff or scalp inflammation. It's an excellent option for me because I have oily scalp and I wash my hair every day. The shampoo has a pleasant scent, foams up well, and lasts a normal amount of time. I highly recommend it!

The scent is pleasant. The shampoo is thick. The consumption is normal. It lathers well, and after the second application, there is a lot of foam (I have soft water). It cleanses well. The hair becomes voluminous after using this shampoo, but it is difficult to comb, so I used a conditioner (from a different brand) with cotton extract for easy detangling after washing. When used in combination with the conditioner, the hair becomes more manageable and soft.

I didn't like it at all. It seems like when you wash your hair, they become squeaky clean. On the surface, yes. But the roots remain greasy. It's the first time I've encountered something like this.

The amount used is quite large, which could be forgiven due to the natural composition, and it smells nice... But it's a pity for the money spent. I do not recommend it.

I really liked this shampoo! I have been buying Melvita shampoos for a long time, I have used the gentle nourishing one, the white one for dandruff, and the restorative one. I have been avoiding this shampoo because I thought it was the harshest and most cleansing one in the entire shampoo line, and I have dry and very porous hair. However, after reading the previous review, I became intrigued and decided to try it. And indeed, the shampoo surprised me. Out of all the Melvita shampoos, this one lathers more than any other and cleanses more gently than the gentle nourishing and restorative ones, strangely enough. But maybe because of the porosity of my hair, I didn't experience any greasiness from it. On the contrary, my hair felt clean, moisturized, untangled, and obedient, as if I had styled it with a hairdryer. Probably not suitable for fine hair. An excellent shampoo. I now use it for the first wash, and then follow with the restorative shampoo for the second wash.

Strange shampoo.
Not suitable for oily scalp: after using it, it feels like it didn't even clean it. Doesn't lather at all.
