Sensitive Scalp Shampoo - Kerastase Specifique Bain Vital Dermo Calm Shampoo
This review is about a large 500 ml shampoo. I have a small version of it (which was a gift with purchase). It is an excellent shampoo, I used it when dandruff started and it saved me. Then I bought myself a 250 ml bottle and it was also good. This time, I ordered the 500 ml size and it's a nightmare. It causes itching and dandruff, making it impossible to use. Then I started using the remaining 80 ml sample and everything was fine. I tried the 500 ml size again and the dandruff came back. It's the same shampoo.
I read positive reviews and decided to buy a large volume right away. However, using the shampoo caused dandruff and itching, which only intensified with continued use. I didn't expect this at all for such a price. I doubt that I will purchase anything else from this brand now.
I will be testing it out, heard great things about it!
The only shampoo that doesn't make your head itch and eliminates dandruff. It's a pity that the price is high. I'm looking forward to a sale.
The shampoo itself doesn't seem bad at first glance, but upon closer examination with a trichoscope, it was revealed that it doesn't wash the hair well and leaves a film and a lot of flakes on the scalp. It might be suitable for those with dry scalp.
I have sensitive scalp. The shampoo does not cause dandruff, which is a huge plus. It has a pleasant smell and rinses easily from the hair! However, there are some downsides - it has a high consumption rate because it is quite runny, and my hair near the roots looks greasy already on the second day after washing, even though I usually wash my hair every two days. So, considering the price of the product, which clearly emphasizes that it is not from the cheap segment, unfortunately, I have mixed feelings.
The only shampoo that, in my case, effectively cleanses the scalp without causing itching and dandruff. I am completely satisfied!
I really liked this shampoo - it leaves my hair shiny. When used with the conditioner, my hair becomes incredibly soft and voluminous. I am very satisfied.
This shampoo eliminated my persistent dandruff from the first use. My scalp no longer itches like before. I'm not sure if this is due to the shampoo or my diet, but my hair has started to get oily very quickly. However, I can't blame the shampoo for that, it might just be a coincidence. But for getting rid of the itchiness and dandruff, I give it 1000 stars.
The shampoo is slightly runny (compared to Resistance), but it can be learned to be used sparingly. It partially helped to relieve itching, and hair stays non-greasy for an extra day.
As for the drawbacks, the price and almost neutral scent. I have a question about the scent because before I had the Resistance series, and there the scent on the hair was divine.
The shampoo exceeded all expectations! My hair tends to be oily at the roots and drier at the ends. It has been colored dark after 10 years of being blonde, but it's not heavily damaged. I wash it every day. This shampoo cleanses excellently without drying out my hair. It leaves my hair soft, light, and with a healthy and well-groomed shine, as if I just came from the salon. I use it together with the Nutritive Vital Milk (light moisturization) and alternate every other day with the Genesis Reconstituting Mask (strengthening and nourishment).
Wow, this product is amazing! It provides gentle cleansing, leaves my hair feeling silky smooth, and the effects last for a long time!
I bought this shampoo as part of a set with the conditioner for long hair. I was hoping to form a different opinion, one that would be different from the negative reviews. But no.
This shampoo is useless. And so is the conditioner.
It has no effect on the scalp, no alleviation of itchiness. Even cheaper Korean shampoos do more than this.
And if we compare it to Vichy, it's completely unclear on what basis this shampoo has such a description.

I am very satisfied with the purchase of this shampoo. It has helped me get rid of itching, flaking, and dandruff, which were all symptoms caused by atopic dermatitis (not a fungus, so all the Dermazole, Sulsen, and similar remedies didn't work). My hair tends to get greasy at the roots and dry at the ends, so I always use a hair conditioner and oil when drying my hair with ANY shampoo. And this shampoo was no exception. I will definitely buy it again!
This shampoo is amazing. Both my husband and my 15-year-old son use it. It is neutral, very lightweight, and I think it would suit many people.
Dear Kerastase manufacturers, I kindly ask you to provide some details on how to use the shampoos: "lather in the palm, apply only to the roots of the hair with massaging movements, and rinse VERY THOROUGHLY. Repeat again." There are so many dissatisfied people who simply don't wash their hair correctly and then complain that the shampoo didn't work for them. But the issue is not at all with the shampoo. Thank you!
After using it for two weeks, I noticed small sores and itching on my scalp. I have to wash my head every day. It didn't work for me.
I bought this shampoo after reading a lot about it, and now I finally decided to write this review to say that all its claims are exaggerated. First, the price is not justified by the results. Secondly, it has a completely chemical composition. And thirdly, my hair feels stiff after washing, and if I don't use conditioner or a hair mask, it becomes difficult to comb. I have it sitting on the shelf, waiting for the day when I throw it away. Honestly, it's a shame for the money I invested.
