I am disappointed with this product. It is not long-lasting and does not leave a lingering scent. It barely lasted for two weeks. I decided to test it again and it simply has a sweet plum aroma, similar to plum compote. The longevity is not more than an hour on the skin and even less on the hair. It is definitely not like it used to be, unfortunately.

It seems to me that modern perfumers have taken great care in reformulating this wonderful creation of one of France's best "noses," Guy Robert, who created this fragrance at the request and with the participation of Ellen Rochas in 1960 (not in 1970, as stated in the description!). This was shortly after she had to take over the Rochas fashion house after the death of her husband, Marcel Rochas, a remarkable fashion designer. Marcel Rochas, alongside creating new clothing designs, also paid attention to the accessories that accompanied them, particularly perfumes, and he enlisted the best perfumers for this work. For example, to create the legendary fragrance Femme, which he gave to Ellen as a wedding gift, he invited the great perfumer Edmond Roudnitska. By the way, respected Makeup team, the creation date of Madame Rochas is not the only mistake; you have long promised, but still haven't corrected the information in your description of Femme, stating that Marcel Rochas was a "young perfumer" at that time, rather than a talented fashion designer known worldwide.

I have been wanting to buy and compare this product for a long time, especially because it reminds me of that magical scent from the 80s. However, the modern version did not impress me at all. When I sprayed it, there was a strong unpleasant smell and sharpness in the fragrance. After a couple of hours, the scent became somewhat tolerable. By the end of the day, I could barely detect a powdery note, which in my opinion, indicates average longevity. In short, the fragrance is somewhat unusual, so it's better to test it before purchasing. I doubt it would suit younger girls.

I used this fragrance in the 90s, as if I had peeked through a keyhole into the past... Yes, tastes change over time...
In my opinion, using such a fragrance requires great care and just a little bit, it would be better if it were a bottle without a sprayer.
But overall, my associations are calmness, warmth, coziness, and a hint of nostalgia... I don't know why. But I didn't think like this before.

I gave this as a birthday gift to my mom! She absolutely loves it :) It's a scent that takes her back to her youth, and maybe even to my childhood. But I'm afraid it just wouldn't suit young girls.

This is simply a wondrous fragrance - delicate, trailing, with a crystal-clear freshness. I adore scents with a subtle hint of bitterness. Before reaching this one, you need to grow and try so, so many things, that's when it can please even the most capricious nose.

I purchased it for myself in England and ordered it here for my friend. I couldn't find any differences. It has a retro scent and is intended for mature and elegant women. My friend is thrilled with it, although, of course, the scent is quite different from the vintage one.

Yes, the initial notes disappear very quickly. What remains is a powdery scent. It's not very long-lasting, but considering its price, it's acceptable. It still has a nostalgic aroma.
