The gel doesn't have any special effect. At most, it cleanses the skin from impurities (I have combination skin). However, there is one major downside: the smell! It is repulsive. It feels like you're washing yourself with a wet dog, the stench is unbearable. I do not recommend it, it triggers a nauseating reflex.
