I would like to add to my comment. Either the scent has settled or my attitude towards it has changed. However, now, instead of incense, sandalwood vanilla takes its place, warm and long-lasting until the evening. It is long-lasting and expensive, and I believe it is suitable for daily wear, just be careful not to overapply.

This is Shalimar, and that says it all. I have adored it for the past 30 years. It's a fairytale from Grelain.

I bought this product without testing it, relying on reviews and thinking that if I like retro fragrances like Chanel N5 and Krasnaya Moskva, then I should also like this legendary fragrance. However, it turned out to be completely different. The initial notes, which everyone describes as rubber, seemed like pine (cedar) to me and didn't scare me at all. It got worse as I continued to use it - there was a constant smell of incense and sandalwood in the base and final note, I can constantly smell it. I only deducted a star because the sprayer leaked and it sprays out like a huge hose. I will try to wear it and get used to it, as all these initial impressions need to be confirmed and it needs time to settle.

I have already ordered 2 bottles in this format. It's great - a super opportunity to get acquainted with the cult fragrances of Guerlain on a budget. The only thing is, I'm in love with the start of this luxurious water. Yes, yes, exactly with these citrus tires, railway tracks, and so on! Later on, it is also beautiful, but it's quiet and modest on my nose! That's why I have to regularly replenish it to inhale this mechanical scent of the top notes!
