Soothing Tonic for Dry and Sensitive Skin - Garnier Skin Naturals Main Care
This is probably the worst tonic I have ever used. It leaves my face feeling soapy, like a liquid for soap bubbles. :(
The tonic did not work for me at all.
I do not recommend it, this tonic will not do anything good for your skin! It only made my skin condition worse, luckily I didn't spend money on it, it was given to me as a gift.
I don't know what people are complaining about. Maybe they didn't properly cleanse their face or didn't rinse off the face wash well. This toner is just like any other toner. I use it for my combination skin to moisturize without feeling sticky. Toners without alcohol usually cause inflammation, so I prefer products with a small amount of alcohol. I cleanse my face with a gel cleanser/micellar water, apply the toner, and then use a mattifying or moisturizing cream (depending on my preference), and my skin becomes very soft and smooth. My husband immediately noticed the difference. It's also great to use after a peel as it soothes the skin, although it may sting a bit due to the alcohol content. If you're looking for a toner that purely moisturizes, this isn't the one. It offers a balance between hydration and cleansing.

The face feels sticky after using it, and on top of that, it also foams up.
The milk makeup remover from this line suits me just like the facial toner does. I have dry and sensitive skin, and after using it, my skin becomes instantly soft and moisturized. The only downside is that it runs out quickly if applied to a cotton pad. So, I transferred it to another bottle with a dispenser, and now it lasts me for six months when used twice a day.
And the toner started foaming! My sister ordered it along with some makeup, and at first, I thought she got confused. I was initially disappointed, but now I use it in the morning to remove the residue of my nighttime cream. By the way, it works well for this purpose. It's like a gentle cleansing product. You don't need to remove foundation in the morning, after all. But now I need a toner after the toner.

I bought this product for my boyfriend who has sensitive skin with flakes. Well, it would have been okay if the toner didn't do anything, but it actually made things worse. The condition of his skin deteriorated, and the redness and flakiness increased. Definitely a no-go. Plus, it does foam up as some people claim.

The updated version of this tonic is truly quite unique. It now foams and has a slightly different scent compared to the old version, but it lasts much longer now.
The updated toner is simply a nightmare! It is a soapy, sticky liquid with a smell of automotive lubricants. Where is the rose? Where is the soothing for sensitive skin? At this moment, it is a blend of toxic chemicals. I highly advise against it.

I used to really love this tonic before, and I thought that they only updated the bottle, but I was disappointed to find out that the tonic itself has also changed. The scent, the effect, and the comfort during application - everything is gone. I am very saddened by this, and I will have to look for another product once I finish this bottle. Garnier has been letting me down lately.
Oh my goodness, after the first use, I started getting acne, even though I've never had it in my life. My skin is already dry. I thought it was just a coincidence, but after a week, I decided to give it another try and bam! The same thing happened again. Unbelievable.
